A NOBLE MISSION IN 2015?

WILL NOBLE MISSION CHANGE THE FACE OF AMERICAN TURF RACING?

Can NOBLE MISSION change the face of American turf racing and live up to all the expectations, placed upon him, by American Breeders? What has everyone in such a tizzy?

First off is his breeding! A Full-brother to the mighty FRANKEL, the highest ever rated horse, by Timeform. His Sire, the extraordinary GALILEO has led all European Sires 6 of the  last 7 years. His Grandsires, DANEHILL and SADLER’S WELLS had led the list the previous 17 out of 18 years. So between the three, we are talking nearly a quarter of a century. Although his Dam KIND, was mearly a Listed winner at 3 and 4, in her 13 race career. She had been described as a strong, powerful, good walking filly, with a powerful hind-end. Which was passed on to both FRANKEL and NOBLE MISSION. She has 3 Group winners, from her first 5 foals.

His Race record of 21 starts, 9 wins, 6 2nds and 2 3rds, with earnings of $2.2m, isnt shabby either. His best year came at age 5(7-5-2-0). Which included 3 Group I  wins, in 3 different countries.  The biggest was probably the Tattersalls Gold Cup at Curragh. His was at his best from 10f-12f. although he did win one at 8f.

So only time will tell and it may be a couple of years(“sim” time), before we see any real impact in the “Sim”. But he maybe the heir apparent and definitely the #1 choice for 2015.

He will be standing at Lane’s End, Versailles, Ky. $25,00 Live Foal

I am super curious as to what we will see out of him. Are breeders going to send A list mares to him? My mare (Bellamy Road) nicks and A to him and I am seriously considering him for 2016. If he is the real deal 25K might be looked as an absolute bargain.

He’s really only $25,000? Seriously? I was reading an article about him, and they didn’t mention a stud fee. I remember thinking it was going to be a lot more than that.

Galileo sons are hot property worldwide for obvious reasons, several US studs have imported them, and no reason why they won’t succeed with their runners judging on the interest shown! As a sire and sire of sires, he is just breaking every record going, and there seems to be no end to his talents!

  • Juddmonte did not stand him. Says it all speaks volumes.
His record before 2014 on the race course did not really give you much to get excited about.
He has his dams temper worth noting her half brother by Sadler’s Wells did and was a massive dud at stud in the USA.
    The signs are not great.
    Way better options elsewhere.
All Frankel has proved so far is that he is not infertile.
