Urko’s Danzig Wins Third In A Row

Urko’s Danzig transferred his winning form to a shorter distance in this weekend’s Furiously Believe Stakes in Ireland. The 5yo Danzig horse settled in fourth just behind the pacesetters. Aussie Bomb(Aus) jumped out to the lead, with Blazing Sevens and Stormy Jack running even with each other a couple lengths back, Urko’s Danzig lurking between them. Stormy Jack briefly took the lead as they turned for home, but could not hold off the graded winner. Muadib, who had been running at the back of the pack, moved up to take fourth, with Super Sumo also earning a cheque. The win was the third in a row for Urko’s Danzig, and the final speed figure was 104.
