INCREDIBLE DIVA(IRE) (GALILEO (IRE) x MARIA’S MON x IN REALITY)
The only runner here ranked inside the top 100, she has been a bitter disapointment in her last two starts. 11f in her latest was clearly too far and a furlong less today should suit. This is also a more realistic level than graded races. Will sit off the pace and close late. Dangerous.
DIXIELAND VIEW (DISTANT VIEW x DIXIELAND BAND x IT’S FREEZING)
First try a stakes level but must surely be up against it here. HAs yet to break the 90 sp barrier, and could only manage a 73 in an allowanc eover 11f latest. Not today.
EXCUSE(IRE) (PEINTRE CELEBRE (IRE) x GREEN DESERT x EL GRAN SENOR)
Anothe rtrying this level for the first time and again has yet to break the 90 sp barrier. Did win over 10f latest in an allowance but only with an 85sp. Sits near the front and will make the top three but i can’t see a win.
SUPER TUFF (EMPIRE MAKER x OCTAGONAL(NZ) x ACADEMY AWARD)
This one has only brokeen the 80 sp barrier twice and looks outclassed. Only one win in an MSW over 8f, she looks to have become disapointing already.
RED REGENT (RED RANSOM x VICE REGENT x GRAUSTARK)
Regular stakes runner, she has been flying ahead and then dying inthe last quarter over 9.5f lataest and looks to be desparate for a drop back to 7-7.5f not a hike to 10f. Will lead but not likely to still be there at the line.
THE BEST THERE IS(IRE) (BEST OF THE BESTS (IRE) x DANEHILL x DANZIG)
Bit of a misnomer here- only 1 recent win in an allowamce she looks to be a miler and will not get the trip. A false favourite even in a poor race. Likes to sit out the back but wil stay there today.
A weak stakes race which can surely only be won by INCREDIBLE DIVA, and by some distance. EXCUSE should be good enough for second and anything could get third.
