| 5/1 | Graded wins elude this nice 4yo filly. She holds her own in the weekly stakes sprints, but can’t seem to crack the barrier in the next step up. Will this be the week? To do so, she will have to beat her nemesis running in the 10 post. She also has to have the lead, and that may be a problem here. Contender.
| SCORPION | 7/1 | Red-hot at the moment after taking a G3 in last. Actually a break through of sorts as she has been struggling in weekly stakes events all year. Will her condition stay sharp or will she “bounce” here? Contender
| ME ME | 9/1 | 6yo mare looking for the form that won her two G1’s last season. She has been in good form the last three outs, but has of yet been able to close the deal. She also will have company up front where she enjoys running.
| CROWNING DEVIL | 22/1 | Nice 3yo filly that will have to improve her SP’s to be a factor here. Should do better as she matures.
| LOOSE LIPS | 6/1 | Has one stks victory in her resume’ and last two races have been close. It’s possible in her current form to put up a pretty good fight here.
| SWAN SONG | 19/1 | Her name says it all at this point in her career. Still competitive, but on the downslide. She should make a good broodmare.
| GRASS | 5/2 | Lukewarm favorite in this who should be flying in the stretch! O/T named her appropriately, as she and grass are one. Has only managed one graded win this year. This must frustrate owner/trainer as she not had the success of her 3yo season. She fits in this very well and should be in the photo. Contender
| HMMM | 17/1 | 4yo still trying to find her footing in the scheme of things. Hasn’t tried dirt short or long, and has victories on turf, both short and long. Puzzling predicament.
| 9/1 | Has never won a stks, so this probably won’t be her first. Surprisingly, she looks like she will end her career without a try on dirt. Guess we’ll never know.
| 7/2 | Second choice here, going for her 4th straight victory. If her form holds up, she should cross the tape first. Race sets up nice, and jock is one of the best. |
