Causes Wood(Ire) Runs Away With Hallelujah Turf Cup

Causes Wood(Ire) went out and did what he does best in this week’s G2 Hallelujah Turf Cup….he set the pace straight out of the gate and simply would not allow anyone to get near him. He won by an impressive 3-1/4 lengths in what amounted to a romp over some pretty formidable competition. Honour My Name(Ire), who seems to relish racing in sunny Florida, won the photo for place over favourite Seeking Sal. With the victory, Causes Wood(Ire) moved into the top 5 in the turf classic division. The winning speed figure was a 107.
