Three Year Old Runs Near Perfect Race.

Sometimes when you handicap a race, you pick a horse to win and then they go out and run a nearly perfect race and make you look like a genius. Actually, I’m not too sure about the genius part, buy I do know that NIGHTHAWK QUEST made me look pretty good but doing just what I predicted in my preview.

This nice looking chestnut colt took a big step forward with his best race to date including a very impressive 98 SPF. Trainer 4NightHawk was tickled to death with his colt’s effort in winning his sixth race in only 15 starts. It appears that he is ready to play with the big boys.

WOETTE’S WORLD was the early rabbit in this one and jumped out in a hurry. Our winner and also THE LAKE EFFECT were tucked in behind the leader and were content to follow until the start of the last turn. They skipped around WOETTE’S WORLD and ran side by side until NIGHTHAWK QUEST took control at the top of the stretch. SHARP WITTED moved up at the end to capture third.

The future is looking bright for NIGHTHAWK QUEST but he needs to show that he can do this consistently. You can bet that trainer 4Nightawk is going to do everything in his power to make that a reality.
