The Sister Dumb Grade 2 Stakes
1. 94633 SONN REI SHAH davarto 11/1. A 4yo filly by Smart Strike with 6 wins from 14 starts. Her last 6 races have all been at 6f on the dirt and has fared well with 3 wins and a 3rd in a G3 as a 3yo last year. She also again another front running horse who likes the lead and from her past races if she does get the lead she almost all the time wins. Her one race this year is possibly her worst race she’s ran since running on dirt; finishing 7th at 6f. If she can run back in form like 4 races back in that G3, she could finish in the top 4 here.
2. 38251 WONDERGIRL CHIPRE thierry 10/1. A 5yo mare by Silver Ghost. She has 30 career starts with 10 coming on dirt. As a 2yo she did pretty well on dirt running 90+ SP’s and winning a stakes and won a allowance at this distance. As a 3yo she did badly in her only 3 tries on dirt, all being in stakes company. As a 4yo she ran once on dirt with a win at 7.5f in allowance company with a 99 SP. She’s run twice this year both on turf at 7f, a G1 and stakes, finishing 6th in both. Hard to tell what she can do here since she has run on dirt consistently, but I think I would pass on her.
3. 34259 FORTY SHOTS greyghost 6/1. A 4yo filly by red Bullet, has 9 wins from 24 starts. She’s run at this distance 5 times, Winning a MSW then two straight stakes. Just ran at 6f lto in a stakes coming in 6th of 10. Some of her best races which she won have been on a wet track, since this is a fast track, I expect her to come in the top 4.
4. 73001 CONQUISTADOR WELLS mouskers 7/1. As a 2yo she ran pretty badly on turf in 8 of her 9 2yo races and wasn’t much better in her dirt start. As a 3yo she got much better from running 60 something SP’s as a 2yo, as a 3yo she posted multiple triple digit SP’s on dirt. AS a 4yo she ran 4 times, twice in stakes company finishing 2nd in both tries with a 112 and 106 SP. As a 5yo won 1 of 2 starts. So far this year she’s run twice with a 9th and a 2nd lto at 7f in a stakes. Is a closer and is capable of getting a high SP still, could be making a run to come in the top 3.
5. 35981 MUCH BELIEVE II samber07 11/1. A 6yo mare by El Corredor. She has run 1st or 2nd in 10 of her last 11 starts dating back from 2004. She’s tried this distance 15 times with only 2 wins. She hasn’t fared well in stakes races in the past 2 years except in 1 last year at 6.5f coming in 2nd. Her SP’s will need to be higher to do something here, but I think i’ll pass on her since she’s hadn’t much luck at 6f.
6. 24955 MISS BREWTALITY sarava02 16/1. A 4yo filly by Danzig with 3 wins form 11 starts. She’s tried this distance 5 times with one win in a allowance race last year. She did run in a 6f stakes in her last start as a 3yo with a 3rd and 94 SP. She’s a on the lead type filly but has faded in some of her races at the end and looks like that might happen here with all the speed in here.
7. 103854 DUBLIN LASS dublinlad 13/1. A 4yo filly by Storm Cat with 5 wins from 10 starts; the 5 wins coming from 7 sprint races. Has an excellent pedigree, has run in all allowance races last year and then ran 3 times this year all in stakes with 2 wins and a 9th. Has run twice at this distance and has won both starts. Another frontrunner, if she continues to get better she might be able to get in the top 5.
8. 52943 AIM FOR THE MOON teamfoppa 8/1. A 4yo filly by woodman with 6 wins from 18 starts. She’s run at 6f 3 times with a win and 2nd’s in allowance races. She is another front running type horse that likes to be on or near the lead. Just won a 7f stakes LTO with a career high 106 SP. She looks to be a improving filly who I expect finish in the top 4, 5 possibly.
9. 33693 CAPACIDAD deponce 12/1. A 6yo mare by Fusaichi Pegasus with 6 wins from 12 starts. She started out her career pretty average as a 2yo and wasn’t that good at 3. She took off her 4yo year and came back last year as a 5yo to run in only 2 races finishing 1st and 2nd in allowances. She has run 3 times this year all in sprinting stakes; which she has gone undefeated. She likes to come from behind and has improved with each start, possible upset winner.
10. 37657 HOSTILE soulbleed 12/1. A 4yo filly by Carson City. She has 21 starts with 11 of them coming at this distance; picking up 4 wins. She another frontrunner as well, but her class will be question as she hasn’t fared well in stakes races. She does seem to be getting better with age so maybe she can collect a check.
11. 74450 HOLLY NICKI(NZ) irishcrown 22/1. A 6yo mare by Zabeel with 10 wins form 34 starts. Her career started out on turf where she was average before switching to dirt as a 3yo where she got better. Has run at this distance 5 times with 1 win and a G3 placing, both though as a 3yo. She’s another front-runner, she’s also running a 4-race win streak coming in, all in allowances. Her SP’s aren’t that great, so I would pass.
12. 26842 POLISH GREEN(IRE) horsechic7 35/1. A 4yo filly by Pilsudski started out her career as a 3yo now having 25 starts with 3 wins. She’s raced three times this year and has won 2 of 3, both allowances at 6 and 6.5f. The 6f race being LTO winning with a career high 93SP but her SP’s will need to make a big jump to contend here, will pass on her.
13. 92977 SKELETON GIRL(IRE) irishcrown 15/1. A 4yo filly by Doowaley, has run at this distance 9 times picking up 2 wins and a couple 2nds. She was pretty average as a 2yo and 3/4 of her 3yo year. She looks like she’s getting a little better this year winning a 6f stakes two back with a career high 102 SP and picked up 3rd LTO in another 6f stakes. However I think I would pass on her.
14. 86920 BIRDS OF PARADISE dixiedotco 7/2. A 5yo mare by Seeking the Gold, has 14 wins from 32 starts. She has run at this distance only 3 times, picking up a 2nd in a G3 last year getting her highest SP last year with a 109; and as a 3yo finishing 2nd and 7th in allowances. Has run twice this year winning a G2 at 6.5f and losing a G1. She’s a frontrunner and looks to do well here, possibly win.
