Forteen Go Postward in Tally Ho Mile-G3
Fourteen Colts and Horses head to post in the Tally Ho Mile-G3 a flat mile on the turf course here in Maryland. This field is a closely matched.
The Favorite is coming out of the three post Urko’s Danzig. He has run well and comes off a third place effort in the Fort Lauderdale Cap-G3 and ran a 106 SF.
The next contenders the 6-Kyogle Tiger and 7-Delight Delta both have run triple digit SF and Delight Delta is coming off a win in a mile stakes race with a 103.
Kyogle Tiger ran poor in a G3 with a 97 and he has ran 103SF in prior efforts.
The next contenders are Satrustegui, Slew Can, Special Prize and Rebellion. Rebellion is coming off a second place finish in The Away The Family Bonanza Stakes and a 102 SF and has ran up to a 105 in recent efforts.
Satrustegui is moving back into stakes company after a 103 SF in an alw-nw3n won with a closing kick.
Slew Can is jumping up in distance and switching surfaces back to where he ran a 108SF five races back if he can run back to that he should win if no others improve much.
Special Prize moving in to stake races after improving in his last three races caping it off with a 105SF last time out.
The long Shots are Memory Lane, Coach Fox, A.P. Preacher, Tonne, Kosa Nostra, Goodbye Deputy, and Forbidden Treasure.
Memory Lane ran a career best 103SF last out and is one to improve or bounce.
Coach Fox should improve after that sub par performance and should get back on track with a triple digit SF.
A.P. Preacher is the Longest shot on the board and has ran a 103SF but that was on the dirt. His best race on the turf was at 9 furlongs and a 101SF.
Tonne Looks like lone speed and might be worth a bet at 11/1 and just ran a 105SF last out. I would look to him to get the lead early and be looking for the wire late.
Kosa Nostra ran a 108 Three back and could be on the improve and might close for the win.
Goodbye Deputy Should run a good SF with the pattern he has been following of late.
Forbidden Treasure moving back to the turf and should do okay on the turf 6(2-1-1) might find in his next race.
Here is the way I see it a close group of fourteen and the winner could come from anywhere and I would take a price. I will Take Special Prize in this one should improve off the last effort at 9/1 had to say no. For Place I will throw a longshot out there Kosa Nostra at 10/1. And Tonne to Hang around For the Show. The Favorite Should/Could get There but I would look for a price in this Race. My Picks are 12-10-9-3
