Field of four goes in Blue Labelle S.
Happy Ending, the 4/5 favorite on the morning line, will be making only her third career start on the lawn, and will be seeking her first win on the surface. The distance is not a question, since both of her victories this year have been at two miles, but she has yet to live up to her turfy pedigree.
El Dorado Miss looks to bounce back after a poor start on a yielding course that she obviously did not relish. She has had several decent stakes tries this year, but she is a 3-year-old facing her elders for the first time and will need to step up her game to be competitive.
Nearly Wow makes her first start for the CPU, filling up the gate with the required four starters. She is ill-suited for the distance, does not like the turf, and has plied her trade in claimers for most of her career, so it is not too likely that she will get her picture taken today.
End of the Reign is winless in the last six months, but her two most recent races suggest she is rounding back into form. In her most recent start, she lost by less than a length at this distance. This looks like an excellent spot for the War Emblem filly to end her drought and take home the money.
