Deputy Goldseeker reversed his fortunes and found his way back to the winner’s circle in this week’s Almost Whirl Memorial. The chestnut son of Silver Deputy broke smartly and took a commanding lead all the way to the wire, notching his third career victory. He ran a 97 speed figure. Lunar Cleansing stalked the pace and finished a length back in second with a 95 speed figure. Greeley’s Indy showed improvement in his first start as a sophomore, running a career best 91 speed figure while finishing third. Heavy Choice(Aus) and Rock For The Ages(Ire) also earned cheques.
