Will Stone Boy win or the undefeated Euler end his run.

$85,000 is up for grabs in the Bluegrass State in the Half Slew Stakes over Seven furlong Dirt for 3 year olds only. Lightning fast track for Kentucky. 6 runners go for glory so lets go to the field.

Tigereyes’ Starpoint Thunder is a son of Aldeberan at 7/2. Ranked 88 in the Dirt Sprint division he is 3 from 10 with a $135,000 in earnings. He ran 2^nd in Stakes in his 2nd and 4^th starts with 75 & 85 Speed Figures. After that he tried a Grade 3 with no luck before running 3^rd in a Stakes. After that he won a Stakes race with a 90 SF by 1 length. He then ran 8^th in a Grade 1 before Last Time out running 1^st in a GSR restricted race. It was a stakes race and I think he has a good chance at winning.

Escapade’s Spiteful is a son of Speightstown at 7/2 with S Garber aboard. Ranked 118 he has won 4 races from 8 starts with $435,000. He won his first two starts by ¼ and ¾ lengths in MSW’s and Allowances. In his 5^th and 7^th starts he won Owner Restricted Stakes by ½ or ¼ lengths and ran 87 and 91 Speed Figures.

Blinking’s Euler is a son of Roar at 7/1 with V Wright aboard. Ranked 568 he is 3 from 3 with $70,000. In debut he won a MSW by 1 ¾ lengths with a 80 Speed Figure. Next start on turf in a Allowance he won by 2 lengths with a 73SF. Last Time Out he won a Allowance on dirt over 7 Furlong by 1 ¼ lengths with a 91 Speed Figure. He definetly seems to take to dirt and will be well suited from 7 to 8 Furlongs. Not yet sure if he can go longer but looks best chance for 2^nd.

Simond5’s Tortured Vison is a son of Vison And Verse and is 7/2 with top jockey D Givins aboard. He is ranked 50 in the sim for Dirt Sprint and has 3 wins from 10 starts and $117,000. This horse has competed pretty high before when in his 3^rd start ran in the G2 Vermont Futurity but unsuccessful. In his 5^th start he won a Stakes by 2 lengths with a 86 Speed Figure. 3 starts ago he won another Stakes by 1 ½ lengths with a 93 Speed Figure. Seems to prefer 7, 7.5F and could play a role.

Xanthu3’s Stone Boy is the 2/1 favourite by Birdstone. D Sherman got the pick to ride this nice horse. He is ranked 47 and had 4 wins from 11 starts with $151,000. In his 6^th start he won a Allowance by 1 ½ lengths with a 85 Speed Figure before winning another Allowance and a Stakes with a 88 SF by 2 lengths. He then went an ran 2^nd in a Grade II by 2 ¼ lengths with a 85SF. Next time out he ran 12^th by 13 ½ lengths in the Breeders Bowl Juvenile. He posted a 82 Speed Figure before running two 2^nd’s in a row in Stakes both losing by 1 ¼ lengths with a high of a 95 Speed Figure. If he puts it together he will Blitz this field.

Tenpin7’s Deblush is by Dehere and is at 9/2 with B Sipe aboard. He is ranked 136 and has won 4 races from 9 starts with $95,000. It took Deblush 4 starts to break his maiden but his next win after that came in Week 2650 when he won a Allowance by 1 ¾ lengths with a 89 Speed Figure. His next start was another Allowance where he won with a 91 Speed Figure but only by ½ a length though. 2 starts back he went 3 on the trot winning a Stakes by 1 length at 7.5 Furlongs with a 88 Speed Figure. Last start wasn’t too good but I hope and think he will bounce back.

Stone Boy looks easily the winner but don’t rule out undefeated Euler
