NEW YORK, NEW YORK!!! Who will win the Dancin Visa Stakes?

The 3yo’s gather for the Dancin Visa Stakes at New York

New York’s weekly stakes race this week is the Dancin Visa Stakes. Run over 7.5F Furlongs on Dirt we have 2 stakes winners to battle Head-To-Head. No rain in New York has a scorching fast track ready for action set for the 16 race card. The race is for 3yo’s only so we could be looking at our Kentucky Derby or next Breeders Bowl Sprint winner in here maybe. But theirs along way down the road to then so lets get cracking….

Bigred1’s SUBURBIN runs here from Post 1 at odds of 12/1. The odds aren’t in favour on poor suburbin but he is a great value bet. Ranked 607 in the Dirt Sprint Ranks he has a decent jock in S Isreal. Suburbin is 2 wins from 4 starts with $42,000 in earnings. He didn’t debut too well but in his 2nd start he ran extremely well winning a Maiden Special Weight with a 78 Speed Figure. He beat the field by 1 ¼ lengths closing from the back of the field. In his next start he tried a Stakes when he bombed out running 9th but his Speed Figure wasn’t too bad running a 81 losing by 5 ½ lengths. Last Time out at Upper New York in his first 3yo start he won a Allowance in great fashion by nearly 2 lengths with a 87 Speed Figure. He seemed to slightly improve with the extra furlong. He jumps to 7.5F from 6.5F this time and im sure he will improve a bit more. Im not sure if he can win but he is a chance.

Sam’s Miesques Phyl is at 7/1 here with B Dirks aboard. This very well bred 3yo is by Miesques Son and Dams Sire is great Turf sire Sadler’s Wells. He is ranked at 657 in the Sprinting ranks for 3yo’s. With a 11 starts under his belt he has won 2 races and $67,000. He has tried Turf and Routes but he seems to prefer the Dirt Mile. Being half a furlong under a mile he is where he should be. He broke his Maiden in his 6th start in Louisiana over a mile on dirt. He did it very impressively by 4 ½ lengths with a 79 Speed Figure. He had to wait another 3 starts for his next win in a Allowance NW2L by ½ a length with a 88SF. I think id try 7f Next Time out with this guy in a Allowance.

Betbig’s Boot The Con is at 5/2 and is the favourite. The son of Storm Boot has the Top Jockey at the track in N Lawton. He is ranked number 80 in the Dirt Sprint ranks and looks like a great chance. In 8 starts he has had 4 wins with a $122,000 in earnings. In debut he won a MSW by 1 ½ lengths with a 80SF. Then he ran in a Stakes Race when he ran a fantastic 2nd by 1 length. Next Time Out he won a Stakes Race impressively with a 84 Speed Figure and won by 1 length. He ran 3rd and 5th in his next 2 outings in Grade 2 & 3’s with 89 and 90 Speed Figures. Last Start he ran incredibly well winning a Allowance by 1 ¼ lengths with a 95 Speed Figure. Seems to be able to run anywhere from 6 to 8 furlongs and is a very good horse. One of the best in the race.

Gipper7’s Love You Most is at 7/2 by Ten Most Wanted. CJ Anderson is the jockey aboard this 3yo. With 2 wins from 7 starts he has won $87,000 in earnings. He is ranked 84 in the Sim for Dirt Sprint 3yo. He won a Maiden Special Weight first time out by a nose with a 78 Speed Figure. In his 3rd start he lost by 1 ¼ lengths with a 81SF in the Group 3 Montana Futurity running 3rd. He failed his next 2 starts before winning a Stakes by 2 lengths with a 94 Speed Figure before running 2nd in a Stakes with a 90 Speed Figure last time out. Very impressive horse who should give this field a run for their money. One of the best in the race.

Paulso’s Bruijo is 4/1 and has a good jockey in P Davis aboard. This son of Awesome Again has 1 win from 3 starts and $32,000 in earnings. Won a Maiden Special Weight in debut by ½ a length over 7 furlongs with a 86SF. Next Time out over a mile in a Stakes he ran 3rd losing by 4 ½ lengths with a 89 Speed Figure. Ran 8th in a Stakes last time out and wasn’t very impressive. Don’t think it can win and is going down from its first start.

Genesis66’s Melek Ha Cavode is by Touch Gold and is 6/1. N Painter jumped aboard the 3yo Colt. The 890th ranked Dirt Sprint is undefeated being 2 for 2. Over 7 furlongs in debut he won his Maiden Special Weight easily by 2 lengths with a 88 Speed Figure. Last Start over a mile he won a Allowance by 2 ½ lengths with a 92 Speed Figure. Well bred, undefeated, racing well hard to tell with the quality he has been racing but I think he will play a major role.

Sprintbarn’s Barb’s Mule Skinner is by Essence Of Dubai and is 7/2. The 196th ranked 3yo Colt has C Jamison aboard. He has had 3 wins from 9 starts and has been In The Money every time except once. He has earned $45,000 in his 9 starts of racing. He won a Maiden Special Weight in his second start by 1 length. In his 3rd start he ran 2nd in a Allowance before running 3rd and then winning a Allowance by ¾ lengths with a 84SF. He then ran 3rd in a Stakes by 1 ¼ lengths with a 86SF and then won a Allowance. Last time out he ran 2nd in a Allowance by 1 length with a 91 Speed Figure.

For first I tip Love You Most he looks to have the goods but you cant rule out Boot The Con and the undefeated Melek Ha Cavode. I think all 3 can win this race.
