Eight Year Old Still Racing Like He Was 4
AK, Race ID 2720.0610 : All horses, 3 years old and up, A mile and one sixteenth on the Firm Turf Course, Purse : $75,000 The Our Pies Memorial Stakes- 2. 2/1 Keep The Faith(IRE)- This millionaire made a living off of closing from far back. It wasn’t a successful move in his recent stakes races so owner dropped him back to allowance. He was a winner in his last so owner brought him back. Will run well. 3. 9/2 Amazing Canoe- Isn’t quite a millionaire at 8 years old, but is certainly running like a 4 year old millionaire. This horse is a deep closer like Faith, so it will be interesting to see who does better in this close race so far. Now let’s look at number 4. 4. 8/5 Othfly’s Mambo- WARNING: If this horse runs like he did in his last two he will win by about 3 lengths. There is a possibility he could bounce though, but if he doesn’t he will for sure run away on the lead. 5. 5/2 Spearville- Owned by flanders this horse always runs a good race although has came out of a fourth place in an allowance race. Only one win in last 8 starts, doesn’t look like a winner here. 6. 12/1 Never On Sundays- Looking for a seventh win and is very inconsistent. Too slow and has been in weak allowance fields, no chance.
1. 30-1 Suzie Q- Has gotten much worse since claimer back in week 2608. Is starting to recover off of an extremely disappointing race two starts ago. Even if comes back to top form will still havea tough time against these.
