The Nevada feature will be run at a distance of Six furlongs over the Dirt Course. Previous winners include 2010 Land’s End winner KITZBUHEL(KY) and 2006 Whirlaway Cap winner SCOTIAN KID. 1 – BIANIQUID(LA) – the LA homebred, racing under the solid black colors of the deep rock stables, held on stubbornly in his Illinois debut but faltered when entered right back against local breds last time out; 40-1 morning line suggests an ambitious move by his connections and a placing here would be quite an accomplishment for this modest bred local…look elsewhere 2 – QUAIL GROUP(KY) – the lana1 stables Chestnut bred from a multi stakes winning mare who has bred a long list of claimers. This Flower Alley colt is only the second stakes winner of ten from this mare and took advantage of a short field in the Phone Dan Juvy last time out…must show more 3 – FLYING DREAMS(JPN) – the sjmeola trainee impressed when winning first two career starts in gate to wire fashion but faltered when asked to lead the Rock em Sock en robots stakes field all the way last time out…must not falter 4 – EXCELLENT OUT WEST(IRE) – another who impressed first two career starts was ambitiously placed last out in the G-3 Television Stakes last time out. The selurnivek trained colt took the worst of it in that field breaking at the back of the pack and weaving his way through a crowded field, but can’t afford a similar trip here and expect a better result…needs good break 5 – VIP STABLES(KY) – sporting the bright yellow and red dundey stables, this Broken vow two year old looked good winning last pair but raises a lot of question marks when you factor in his speed figures; will be compromised on the front end with these forcing him to fall back steadily throughout…not with these 6 – LOOKIN AT GIANTS(KY) – hailing from the john5539 connections this promising colt is a perfect two for two in his short racing career and was easily the best when odds on favorite in a short field in open allowance last time out…chance off best 7 – MAGICABREAK(SAF) – another from the deep rock barns, the South African bred filly takes on the boys this week after an impressive third place finish in the G-3 Unusual Circumstances Juvy last time out. High marks for placing in a graded affair last time out, but not sure the ped holds up against the boys this week…your call 8 – TAYLOR’S TOWN(KY) – racing for the top connections of the dixiedotco stables this More Than Ready colt followed up his dominating maiden debut with an equally impressive score in the Hard Cat Juvy last time out while posting impressive speed figures in both events; from braded stakes winning mare Blue Panther…can’t ignore 9 – STAY IN ORBIT(KY) – the eminc trainee followed up his back to back winning career starts with an stirring 3rd place finish in the G-3 Television Stakes last time out equaling a fields best 80 speed figure for the effort; from the multi stakes winning mare Street Creds, this late closing Distorted Humor offspring is sitting on a huge effort here on Saturday…one to beat 10 – UNLIMITEDSPEED(KY) – the brilliantly bred Unbridled’s Song colt from the bigfan stables is a perfect two for two in career starts and is certainly a horse that must be considered in his Stakes debut. Broodmare was a winner of $355K sprinting in her career and has appeared to have passed along that ability to her first offspring… might be this good 11 – SEEKERMILL(OH) – a third representative from the deep rock family, this modest bred colt debuted in fine fashion when first while leading every step of the way in his Maiden debut while posting a respectable 70 speed figure for the effort; not sure that pedigree will hold up here and the morning line 40-1 odds suggest this colt is ambitiously placed in this outing…look for next time out 12 – VISIBLE CLOUT(KY) – the bond 77 representative translated his maiden debut victory into a second place finish in the Jack Be Nimble Stakes the next time out but disappointed when off the board when entered in the G-3 Television last time out; good enough to beat a majority of these in here but would have to move up considerably to overcome other rivals from that field…chance for part 13 – INFORMATIVE(JPN) – the bigrick stable starter was much the best in his Maryland debut and followed that up with an equally impressive second place finish in the Swift Hollandia Juvy last time out while posting an eye-catching 80 speed figure for the effort; likely to be compromised on the front end here but should put the early challengers away but will he have enough to hold off the late charge of Stay in orbit…dangerous 14 – DUKE OF JORDON(IRE) – the rencapone entry might be the best of the non-stakes runners making the crossover to the next level; all out to win his maiden in his second start after switching from turf to dirt the Duke of Marmalade colt weaved his way through a large field from the back of the pack to finish a strong closing second last time out in allowance company and sits a good trip in field that insists on making it a frontrunners gathering…chance at a price
