A very nice of three year old fillies will contest the Japanese Oaks over the classic distance of a mile and half on Saturday at Japan. A number of them contested the Sydney Oaks with MYLIFEDEPENDSONIT just finishing in front of CAPE CORAL with MOLY and THE FLYING WOLF finishing down the track. MYLIFEDEPENDSONIT from the aussloth barn will start favourite but at the odds I will be backing CAPE CORAL to reverse their last meeting. Belong is a rundown of each runner:

Ran a good second here in the Japanese Thousand Guineas over the mile journey two starts back before making up late ground in the German Thousand Guineas also over a mile to finish third. Untried beyond the mile. Will be given every chance by Japan’s top jockey K Ledwith.

Scored a good win at Newmarket in the GR Simsters Restricted race over eleven furlongs when she led all the way before being beaten a long way last start in the Grade One Sydney Oaks at Victoria over today’s distance. Is better then last run suggests.
