2nd URC Triple Crown?

URC Belmont Stakes

In only its 2nd running of the URC Triple Crown series, we have another contender shooting for a Triple Crown bid. The young lad from Australia, Tee Jay will be sending out his budding star in Streets Of Nowhere to try and solidify a 2nd Triple Crown winner. In the inaugural series, Metallinut’s El Roberto swept all 3 races. His Derby victory was run in 2:02 4/5th’s (98 speed); His off going Preakness victory was 1:55 3/5th’s (100 speed), and his Belmont victory was 12f in 2:30 2/5th’s where he earned a 105 speed number (run faster than the Sim Belmont). Saturday, Teejay will look to duplicate the effort.

Streets Of Nowhere took down the URC Derby with a fantastic 2:01 3/5th’s and earned a 106 for his victory. In his Preakness run, he toyed with most in the field and won by 3 ¼ lengths and earned a 103 speed. His final time was 1:55 1/5th.

Similar to El Roberto’s runs, Streets Of Nowhere dictates every part of the race. He likes to run fast early and won’t take part of conversating with horses down the backside. His Preakness run, Streets Of Nowhere actually pulled away to an insurmountable lead of 10 ¼ lengths as they hit the top of the stretch.

Saturday, there may be a few to test the big boy at 12f. Marmac’s Hard Bark, who finished 3rd, behind Tiz Flappin’ Now and Streets. In the Preakness, Hard Bark was making a nice charge at him late. Will the 12f be the cue that Hard Bark needs to get Streets at the wire? To say how good Streets Of Nowhere may be, we can look to the runner-up horse in the URC Derby. Tiz Flappin’ Now went on to the Sim Preakness where finished a game 2nd place.
Teejay stated “He’s sharp and ready to roll!”. Marmac is thinking the 12f distance will be right up Hard Bark’s alley. Some other members are being particularly quiet and will also try to spoil the bid.

Best of luck Tee Jay with your dash for the TC. The bulls eye has been posted and fresh faces await.
