Dyna Shore Filly Route

Race : Dyna Shore Turf Filly Route – Stakes – $65,000

Track : Queensland (AUS)
Restrictions : Fillies and mares, 3 years old
Distance : A mile and one eighth on the Turf

An even bunch of eight three year old fillies will face the judge in this staying test on Saturday. The pre post favourite is TIZ A CRY OF LOVE from the lucha stables who has been placed at eight of her ten career starts.

MAMBO AT SEA looks the likely leader with HIGH N MITEY and REFERR ROCK also likely to push forward. I like the favourite TIZ A CRY OF LOVE who should settle near the tail of the field and work home strongly. LOU’S GIFT from the sabalou barn will be shadowing the favourite and it could be a staying test in the stretch.

Below is a rundown of entire field:

PP1 – 11765 MAJOR NUREY (JPN) 6/1

3YO Mare by Daiwa Major (Jpn) 11 starts 3-0-2 $52,608 (burnin)

Win Percent 27.2% AveragePze 4782 SPRating 92

Won two consecutive Allowance races in India and New South Wales both over the mile before three unplaced efforts since. Is capable of better but last few have been disappointing.

PP2 – 11184 TIZ A CRY OF LOVE (KY) 2/1

3YO Mare by Street Cry (Ire) 10 starts 4-3-1 $281,554 (lucha)

Win Percent 40.0% AveragePze 28,155 SPRating 101

Had won four in a row culminating in the ESR Holiday Cheer Restricted race in Victoria over eight and a half furlongs three runs back before last two unplaced efforts. Both those were at Grade Three level and can improve in this race. Is the class runner of the field who will be handled by M Cameron who will give him every chance.

PP3 – 43211 HIGH N MITEY (IRE) 8/1

3YO Mare by Montjeu (Ire) 8 starts 3-2-2 $104,366 (drcracing)

Win Percent 37.5% AveragePze 13,045 SPRating 88

Has only been out of the placings at one of her eight starts to date. Scored a good win at Norway over the mile at Allowance level last start and will appreciate the longer trip here.

PP4 – 31873 DAN MISSES ML(GB) 7/2

3YO Mare by Dansili (GB) 11 starts 3-1-4 $166,149 (xanthu3)

Win Percent 27.2% AveragePze 15,104 SPRating 97

Won well four starts back here over nine and a half furlongs in the Huge Slide Stakes and then down the course in next two at higher grade. Returned to some form last start in Italy in the Hopefully Rattle Turf Route and expect forward showing here.

PP5 – 46221 STARDUMS (AUS) 13/1

3YO Mare by Stratum 7 starts 1-2-1 $44,522 (cjt4)

Win Percent 14.2% AveragePze 6360 SPRating 89

Broke through for her Maiden victory last start at New Zealand over eight and a half furlongs and would have to improve a great deal to trouble these but is bred to be a champion.

PP6 – 22118 MAMBO AT SEA (IRE) 9/1

3YO Mare by Galileo (Ire) 9 starts 2-3-0 $67,205 (super12)

Win Percent 22.2% AveragePze 7467 SPRating 89

After maiden win at New South Wales scored an impressive win at Ireland over nine and a half furlongs at next start at Allowance level. Was outclassed in the Grade Two New Zealand Oaks but will improve here. Should be well ridden by S DeBerg.

PP7 – 21946 REFERR ROCK (IRE) 16/1

3YO Mare by Mujadil 14 starts 2-1-3 $99,421 (windsong91)

Win Percent 14.2% AveragePze 7101 SPRating 82

Last placing was a win here over the slightly longer trip ten and a half furlongs in the Shiphole Stakes as odds on favourite. Has been unplaced at her next three starts and would have to improve greatly to challenge in this. The newcomer K Damo takes the mount and will give it every chance.

PP8 – 11332 LOU’S GIFT (FR) 5/2

3YO Mare by Librettist 10 starts 4-2-2 $153,790 (sabalou)

Win Percent 40.0% AveragePze 15,379 SPRating 100

Won both the Emerald Slipper and Diamond Slipper restricted races as a two year old and has been placed in her three runs since. Her latest effort was a second placing in New South Wales in the Storm Angel Turf Filly Route when a short priced favourite. Would only have to improve slightly on that effort to win this. Will be given every chance by Queensland’s top jockey C Wyatt.

SELECTIONS

Tiz A Cry Of Love to win.

If you box 2, 8 and 4 in the Exacta you should get a return.

For Trifecta players take 2, 8 and 4 to run in the first two and throw in 1, 6 and 5 for third.

Good Luck to all Runners

Steve
