| (DEHERE x DAYJUR x EXCLUSIVE NATIVE) This clone of DUEL EXPRESS broke his maiden first time out on an off track. The colt has not finished in the money since, but may be poised to get back to the winners circle. He could really take here or may just need to try the turf. He will have Shinkle back in the saddle for a second consecutive start. | ||||||

STARTS 4-0-0-0 |
EARNINGS $392 |
| (COMMANDS x BRIEF TRUCE x BUSTINO) Here is a filly TEEJAY is still waiting on a response from. She has quite a bit of stamina bred into her. She may make a nice class four distance runner if she does not begin to respond in sprints soon. The ALICE TOO clone will have mountains to move in this one. | ||||||

3 – ROME ON FIRE (NZ) |
ODDS 3/1 |
TRAINER PEKAY |
JOCKEY DI THOMAS |
RECENT SPF’S 86, 76 |
STARTS 2-1-1-0 |
EARNINGS $16,660 |
| (CECCONI x ANABAA x SIR TRISTRAM) PEKAY has managed this colt to near perfection with a great deal of patience. ROME ON FIRE has responded to his first rate care with two outstanding in the money performances. His last seven furlong race on the dirt he broke maidens with an 86 speed figure while winning by 2+ lengths with ease. I expect ROME ON FIRE will like more distance than six furlongs, but I still think he could dominate this race on Saturday. A very strong contender with a jockey in DI THOMAS who is off to a good start. | ||||||

4 – DREAM WARRIOR (AUS) |
ODDS 11/1 |
TRAINER LEBOWSKI |
JOCKEY R RICE |
RECENT SPF’S 67, 58, 60 |
STARTS 3-0-0-0 |
EARNINGS $392 |
| (RED RANSOM x LAST TYCOON x MARSCAY) As the rock band Dokken’s album cover once proclaimed “BACK FOR THE ATTACK”. DREAM WARRIOR is back and ready to try and improve after a somewhat luke warm taking to the dirt last time out. It looks like DREAM WARRIOR does prefer dirt, but someone should tell LEBOWSKI that big hair bands are out! DREAM WARRIOR is a clone of DREAM TEAM. | ||||||

5 – ELECTRIC MARTINI (AUS) |
ODDS 11/1 |
TRAINER TEEJAY |
JOCKEY H HARBERT |
RECENT SPF’S 56 |
STARTS 1-0-0-0 |
EARNINGS $0 |
| (CHARGE FORWARD x DANEHILL DANCER x ANNIHILATE ‘EM) This lightly raced colt is out of a open mare named DANEHILL MARTINI. He will need to show us he prefers the dirt. His pedigree and the fact he has never made a dirt start makes him a bit of a wildcard. He could surprise this field. | ||||||

6 – TAI PO (AUS) |
ODDS 4/1 |
TRAINER SELURNIVEK |
JOCKEY P KELLY |
RECENT SPF’S 81, 73, 70 |
STARTS 3-1-2-0 |
EARNINGS $21,285 |
| (RAKTI x LAMMTARRA x HERBAGER)This colt has been a standout at the Hong Kong residency so far. He always puts up a respectable speed figure, and he has yet to finish further back than second in three starts. He may turn out to be the runner all RAKTI fans have been hoping for. This race may be a bit short for TAI PO, but like ROME ON FIRE he still may have the superior speed to overcome. Last time P KELLY was up TAI PO cruised to victory. | ||||||
|
7 – DANHRO (AUS) |
ODDS 4/1 |
TRAINER HAWKZ |
JOCKEY FSCROGGINS |
RECENT SPF’S 72 |
STARTS 1-0-0-0 |
EARNINGS $0,980 |
| (LONHRO x DANEHILL x LYPHARD’S WISH) DANHRO is out of the game mare HARD HILL and a clone of HEXAGON. He failed to break maidens in his initial start. He did post a solid speed figure in that turf route, and now will show if he prefers dirt sprinting. DANHRO is another X factor in this race. We know he has some speed, and jockey F SCROGGINS is on a roll finishing in the money at a 60% clip so far this season. | ||||||
|
8 – WILD AND LUCKY (AUS) |
ODDS 4/1 |
TRAINER LEBOWSKI |
JOCKEY T BREWER |
RECENT SPF’S 71 |
STARTS 1-1-0-0 |
EARNINGS $11,760 |
| (MORE THAN READY x FOREST WILDCAT x BROAD BRUSH) This filly is a clone of MORE LUCKY. She narrowly broke maidens first time out with a 71 speed figure. That race was over five furlongs. If she does prefer six furlongs she may be able to defeat the boys in this one. Top jockey T BREWER will be up once again for WILD AND LUCKY in this one. | ||||||
|
9 – ELLCRU STRIKE (GER) |
ODDS 41/1 |
TRAINER VIENTO |
JOCKEY H LY |
RECENT SPF’S 68, 52 |
STARTS 2-0-1-0 |
EARNINGS $1,125 |
| (JOHAN CRUYFF x STRAIGHT STRIKE x ELLIODOR) ELLCRU STRIKE may be your best bet in this race. His long odds could work well if you’re looking for a good payout. His recent 68 speed figure was good enough for second in a dirt sprint at this very same distance. He lost that race by only a quarter of a length. He should be the rabbit in this race, and I believe he has a realistic shot at finishing top three despite long odds. He is a clone of AMAZING FORTUNE. | ||||||
|
10 – NUREMBERG (NZ) |
ODDS 23/1 |
TRAINER THE OTHER LEBOWSKI |
JOCKEY M GOLDSBURY |
RECENT SPF’S 55 |
STARTS 1-0-0-0 |
EARNINGS $0 |
| (VOLKSRAAD x LION CAVERN x STUTZ BLACKHAWK) NUREMBERG is a filly who is untested on the dirt. She will have to beat long odds if the other LEBOWSKI is going to find his way to the winners circle. She does have plenty of speed in her pedigree with a 3×4 dose of MR. PROSPECTOR, and a 3×4 dose of SECRETARIAT. | ||||||
