The Carry Forward
Grade 2 – Purse $375,000
Restricted to 3 Year Olds
6 furlongs on Dirt

Today we are at Gulfstream Park in sunny Hallandale Beach Florida for the “G2 Carry Forward”, a six furlong race on the dirt featuring some of the best three year olds the Sim has to offer. They’re racing for the winner’s share of the $375,000. This is a closely matched group so jockey tactics and racing luck will probably play important roles in determining the winner.

Here is a closer look at the field:

He comes in on five weeks rest and should compete with this group.

He will look to run near the front of the pack in the early going and should be flying as they come down the stretch.

#3

stud haack barn
e sharp                                               5/1

Out of the studhaack barn is this three year old BOLT D’ORO colt out of the Sim Mare VENEZUELA MIA.He ended his two year old season with back to back gate to wire wins at six and a half furlong Allowance Races and extended the winning streak to three with a win in his first race this year. His last two starts resulted in a third place finish at the “Frog Spit Dirt Sprint” and a 100 speed win last time out at the six furlong “Prospective Dance Dirt Dash” where he beat FORLIOSOO by two lengths. He should like the distance here and with that big speed he might be hard to catch as they come down the stretch.

r logan                                                4/1

Out of the kymar barn is this three year old OMAHA BEACH colt out of the Sim Mare OUTBACK DANGLE. He should garner lots of attention at the betting windows and will be well positioned as they come down the stretch.
