Hello Newman

Follower’s of The BTB lapped up the 7-2 on offer about Saturday’s Top Art Hcp.

The 4yo son of Galileo is named after the arch nemesis of Jerry Seinfeld, but this was one time Seinfeld was happy to see Newman ‘arrive’. Sitting back off the expected early speed battle between Underworld Figure, and the stayer Cape Tempest. Coming with a withering burst, Newman gathered up Underworld Figure who had shaken off the gallant stayer, and went on to score in a rating of 112. This win takes his record to 9 form 19, and he looks a horse who can go on to Group racing in the New Year.

The 3rd horse is definitely one to follow over more ground. He has a good record at anything 12f and above, and he too is certain to achieve further black type glory. Underworld Figure was honest and continues to hold his form, whilst Losing Privalage ran well and continues to thrive on hard racing. The favorite Morning was very disappointing, and a short rest might be in order for him.

If I was to sight any doubt about the quality of the race it would be that they did finish pretty bunched, not more than 4L covered the first 6, and the track may have played fast ‘time-wise’.The winner has achieved those sort of figures before so I think you can follow him safely.
