Comeback by an experienced trainer Part 7
Comeback by an experienced Trainer Part 7
Another week of racing in the books, and it was quite a succesful one for Bobles Stables, having had a total of 44 runners, I scored 7 wins, and produced 529 BP, so far so nice, I’ll take an in-depth look at runners later on. The first part of this weeks Edition will go into a nice off-racing topic in the sim, Residencies. So far my stables have all been running independent, collecting BP only for themself, but this sim offers more, kind of a group feeling. Every stable can join a residency, and with it’s BP collect credits for his residency, so you may ask, whats the advantage. Simple said, it gives the sim a whole unique new feeling, the most important part for some may be contests, every residency holds contests for it’s members, which gives you prize horses, mainly 2yo unraced horses, that can give you a hand at a great horse. The other and perhaps even more enjoyable part is the community feeling, your residency gives you a message board, perhaps a chat and a place to perhaps discuss the sim more in detail. And then there are the various residency cross-promotional contests, where residencies go head-to-head, or even battle themself in the huge Equinics. Last week I got a nice personal message by mtk76, asking me to join Blazzing Saddles Residency, which still is very young, but looks for sim interested members. I found it the perfect place for me to go, and joined with all my stables(actually 14 by now). As an advice for newbies, try to grow your sim adventures by looking for a Residency, just like the BTB offers more enjoyment Residencies make you get more out of your sim credits J. At this place a big thanks for the warm welcome by Blazzing Saddles members.
Now on to the week 3644 racing, like usual first let’s look at my premier stable boble, this week with 3 runners, and a total of 40 BP collected. I started the week off with a small disappointment, Wild Hilde II my High Level claimer went off at 9/2 in a 100K Claimer, but found no race at all, running an unexpired 81 and finished 7th, not the start you look for. However the next race made up for it, my 3 yo Maiden Corcoesto(IRE) found the stretch to 10f very nice and ran a useful, because unchallenged, 77, storming away for an almost 5 length victory.

My 3rd runners was my nice ALW sprinter Eagle Harbour, who produced a close 3rd place finish, he really deserved the win in my mind, closing like crazy and having the fastest finish speed, however he came ¼ of a length short, I suggest you watch the race, as i really thought he’d catch the leaders, just for the line to come an inch to early:

My newbie stable boble2 had a very nice week, having 4 runners and producing a winner and 56 BP. My claim pick up Charismaticly gave me a nice 7500$ Claimer victory in his first race for the stable, this meant a nice 100% bonus, the bad part of it, he got claimed, so it was a one time start only, never the less a 50 BP production, with the run back at same track bonus, so once- again my theory of bidding for races to turn credits into BP worked.

Other runners included a disappointing 6th place by Too Wild, being a 2/1 favourite, a 4th place by original horse Bangkok and an 8th by Chief Deputy, who will be dropped into the auction, once the stable hits 20 runners, which will likely be next week.
Overall I’m happy with the development of boble2, now at 18 races with 3 winners and a total of 211 BP.
News from other Bobles Stables:
A short run down of my other 5 winners and a debut by a horse I expected to be my best 2yo:
Fasten Bbor won for one of my newest stables boble5, a nice win for an original horse going off at 14/1, those I really enjoy, as you can hardly predict them.

Ocean Cairo won for mullerchen in an easy 4 runner ALW, you can hardly judge that time, as she ran away with the race, the question will be to find out, if she prefers more staying distances of 13f+, or will be better at long routes around 11-12f.

Aisle of White a 4K Claimer, for boble3, I really didn’t expect that horse to win, he went pretty much unnoticed by me, well if you hit 100+ horses, you can’t know ‘em all.

Mick Schnitzel a 50K Claimer win, I really like this one out of the westie32 stable, he already produced his 50 BP he cost as a 25K claimer pick up, usually a tag, at which you have to be very confident of the horse, but she’s a nice claimer, with an easy to remember name.

Like my Dad gave herbie a win in a 15K MCL, another one of those 50BP first time starters wins.

One other result I wanted to speak about, from mullerchen stable Bostarter went off at 2/5,
but likely needs much more distance, had no kick in the end.

Thats it from this weeks racing, next week, I plan to take a look at breeding mares, you once owned, and which are now on the market for all former owners.
Until then, Good luck at the races…..
