PP Horse Owner Jockey Odds
1 Incomprehensible lionheart D. Knopf 11/1
An excellent 5 year old mare out of Unbridled Song’s and the Storm Cat blood. The 5 year old mare hasn’t been doing well in his last 3 starts. The horse hasn’t been doing well running in graded races. The horse seems like she wants more distance as in her past races she has enough in the tank. Too short for her.
2 Song of the Hawk shiekabner Z. Kentucky 9/2
The favorite in this race who certainly deserves it looking after his past starts. She only had two bad races in her last 8 starts. She won 5 straight races which were all graded races. She won the World Cup Ladies Long Sprint Grade I by ½ a length. The last race she ran in could be excused, she ran in a sloppy track so she probably didn’t like the track. Probably will see her in the winner circle if the front runners are going fast.
3 Lite up the Sky sdmf9 M. Kirkpatrick 22/1
The horse is really stepping up in class in this race. She hasn’t been doing very well she is a front runner and if no one stays with her then she will probably has a shot at it. But the thing is can she handle these horses? There are plenty of horses to gun her down at the stretch with their late kicks.
4 Wakifuhur doobie M. Robinson 27/1
The horse has been doing quite well in his past starts. The horse won 3 times in a row each of them easily by more than a length. But the problem is they were all allowance races as she steps up in class in this race. With M. Robinson aboard he might give a dream home ride. That explains 27/1.
5 Diablerie wemblem G. Withers 6/1
A five year old Storm Cat mare who has been doing exceptionally well in her previous starts. The last five starts were all 100+ SP which is really fast who is at five years old. She ran in the Whats Up Stakes closing down the stretch but couldn’t catch the winner. She had a 107 SP in that race which is excellent and shows that she certainly has the speed against these horses. But she’s facing classy horses which might make it difficult for her.
6 Treasure Coast paddy A. Ebert 6/1
The six year old mare Treasure Coast has earned a lot of money for her owner paddy where she has earned over $700,000 in her earnings. She hasn’t done badly at all as a six year old mare. I’m looking at her last 8 starts and she’s only done bad race which was her last start. You can’t blame the horse since it’s her first time in a while for a graded race. At least she knows the competition is like in running graded races so we might see her in the winner circle.
7 Pleasant Lass richardobe A. Reed 12/1
A Kentucky bred horse out of the legendary horse who won the Dubai World Cup and Breeder’s Cup Classic Pleasantly Perfect is doing very well as a 4 year old filly. She has done “ok” for the past starts. It looks like she loves it here looking at her past start. She ran in the Real Danger Handicap Grade II just losing by a nose. A tough beat as she was closing in on the winner. Maybe she will get it done this time.
8 Wakiwild turfsurf I M. Buttons 9/1
The five year old hasn’t been doing well in the past eight starts. She has already earned over $900,000 in earnings. But she is starting to struggle now and she hasn’t won for quite a while. The last time she won when she was in Hong Kong running in the Their Brats Challenge Stakes by 2 ¼ lengths. I don’t know what else to say to this horse. She has I M. Buttons aboard and hopefully see her in the winner circle.
9 My Goodness learfan55 C. Rice 6/1
What an amazing four year old filly out of A.P Indy. The name of this horse My Goodness is a very catchy name if you look at her past performances. She hasn’t run out of the money for a while now. But the bad part of it is she’s run in allowance races. She attempted her first graded race in the Flying Pig Sprint where she ran 3rd. I would put her in the exotics for sure.
10 Strike the Saint sdmf3 N. Schreiber 9/1
A Strike the Gold four year old who has banked over $100,000 in earnings. This filly is not bad at all if you take a look at her performances. She can definitely handle the distance and has the speed to run here. If you look at her past start she ran in or for the Trail Mix Grade III for her first graded race. She didn’t do badly either; she ran third in the race and was 6 lengths behind the leader. I would also include her in the exotic wagering.
11 Badlanders stoners E C. Doyle 8/1
A filly that was out of the sire Saint Liam that has recently died and flipped over in the farms when he was breeding. This filly is like her dad who has tremendous speed. The last five races she ran in were 100+ SP. If E C. Doyle can give her a nice breeze running behind the front runners she can win this easily. E C. Doyle has a 13% at the track. The trainer stoners will give instructions to him to win this.
12 You Thought Wrong super19 M. Russell 7/1
Wow what an amazing mare she is. She has done a lot for her trainer super19 with earnings over $500,000 banked. She ran in many big races in the past like the Del Penn Distaff as a four year old. Now as a five year old she is doing great still. Three starts back she won the Delpenn vs Keenland Grade II by a nose. If there is speed in this race M. Russell will stay in the pack waiting for her to move. This is a short distance maybe this will help her.
