2008 Junvenile Preseason Statistics

Another Juvenile preseason has come to a close, and it is time to see how the early competition stacks up!!! This year’s preseason saw 338 races run and 4484 runners. Overall race count was up in 2008 and average speeds stayed just about the same. The speed distribution curve stayed about the same, with the bulk of runners centered in the 51-60 speedrange. Six horses ran speeds over 80 as compared to one last year.
