Four to start in the Super Tyler

Field of four to tackle the Super Tyler stakes at 6.5f on the Turf this week.  Tough we have a small field, the field still looks competitive with three stakes winners facing off.   Here’s the field:

   #1  LONDON EYE  2/1

Blueriband brings this royally bred son of Seeking the Gold into the race off back to back stakes wins.  Bred from Game Dam, First Try, who wasn’t much of a runner with only 2 victories, back has been a huge success as a Bloodmare with 3 of 5 of her offsprings winning at the stakes level.    Comes into the race in excellence form, never being worst then 2nd in 8 tries, and coming off his best SP’s 87/83.  Small field and she has a excellent chance to get the victory.

  #2 ALKAHOLIK 9/5

Ups brings this son of Alkaased into the race off a allowance win.  His form hasn’t been the best recently, as he was G3 placed (3rd) twice last year, and also won two stakes last year.  Well placed today against a small field, and his two recent allowance wins could of boosted his confidence enough to help him overtake this field.

  #3 SNELL’S LAW 14/1

Makes his first start for the computer, claimer just completing the field, but is 5/2-2-0 on the turf, unlikely to be a factor.

  #4 THE TWISTER  1/1

wildwest brings his Scratch-bred son of Markane into the race off a career best stakes win a 6furlongs with a SP92.  He’s been very consident, placing in the top 3, 8 of 10 tries.  And besides his MSW victory first time out he’s faced nothing but stakes company.  The one to beat, and with a repeat of his last he’ll be tough, but if he tails off any he could be upset.
