MILLVIEW STOCK(IRE)

Ra Williams

39/1

Scratch bred 2yo sired by Orpen.  Sire doesn’t produce precocious runners and usually throws turf progeny.  Progeny for the most part don’t mature till late in their 3yo season.

B Ironside

3/1

Out of a “G” rated mare that had one win as a 2yo.  Sired by Pleasantly Perfect, this colts bottom line is loaded.  Colt finished 2nd last out in a fairly tough field at N. Florida.  Loves the front end and may again have to hold on in the stretch to take all.  Ironside will be a big factor as to whether the colt will stay together in the last 1/16th.

CLASSICAL BRASS ER(KY)

H Ross

5/2

Out of a “D” rated sprinting mare; this colt ran a nice 2nd in his last gaining on the leader at 6f.  Sired by Dixieland Band and ridden by top jock Ross, he has an excellent chance in this.  Colt is at a peak after winning his first two races and then slumping a bit.  Certainly a factor here.

A Mitchell

9/2

Out of an “E” rated mare eligible to all that really hasn’t produced much to date.  Colt has struggled when going beyond 5.5f.  Unless jock Mitchell can inspire, can’t see much happening here.

D Silver

5/2

Scratch bred to Storm Boot, colt is coming off a nice win at said track last out.  Same jock in irons is a plus.  This is a test of his ability to go the extra 1.5f.  Usually a stalker, he may challenge for the lead in this.  Jock should not let the #2 horse get too far in front.  Threat here.

Z Wylde

5/2

Out of a “G” rated mare that made a living on the grass.  This colt mirrors his mom.  Trainer feels it is time to get the colt on dirt so as to get that question mark out of the way J  If it doesn’t work out, then he can go back to being competitive on the grass.  There certainly isn’t a problem with distance here and a bright future looks to be in store for this youngun’.

Exacta box = 2,3,5 (#6 has to prove he can run on the brown stuff)
