Four Girls Go At It
Very small field here today for the Stakes race with 4 baby faced runners out there – 3 of them having never run before! Well folks, it’ll be a matter of 1,2,3,4 – only question is in what order? Work that out and you can take a truckload of money home with ya. Have fun – here’s the card:
Post 1: 4/1 LUIGIA DEI MEDICI(JPN) (mihiri)
Luigia Dei Medici (AGNES WORLD x PIVOTAL(GB) x RICH MAN’S GOLD) is the only one of the 4 runners in this small field today who has run around the track before. 3 outings for 2 wins for a total earnings of almost $60,000. Nothing to be sneezed at and still she is not the favourite with the bookies. Surpisingly. Last time out was a shocking run over 6 furlongs and was never in it. Her previous 2 outings though were 2 very impressive wins coming from behind through the field to win. Out of the little known (to me certainly) Agnes World who at this stage has not produced anything of much note. Nevertheless the favourite for me here to win this.
Post 2: 6/1 MILLVIEW SELLERS(IND) (deeprock15)
Millview Sellers (TEJANO x WOLF POWER(SAF) x BIG SHUFFLE) is the first of the unraced making her debut at Stakes level. Bred out of Tejano who is not one of the more noted ones but has produced a few stakes winners over the years. Has been training well I hear down at the deeprock stables. In fact I have heard that she is packing some very fast times in training and could well be worth backing. Only 4 in the race so the odds arent going to get much better than this. Have to wait and see how she goes in the Stakes today. Certainly taking the plunge straight in at this level.
Post 3: 2/5 GENEROUS GIANT(ENG) (stablefred)
Another taking the plunge debut outing straight into Stakes is Generous Giant (GENEROUS(IRE) x GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) x STORM BIRD). Very well bred out of Generous(IRE) who has produced some very good stakes winnesr in the past which is probably why she is commanding the bookies attention as the out and out favourite for the race. Rumoured to be generous with her friends and not so generous on the track but we will have to wait and see how she goes. Hard to back because of the odds. Certainly has the breeding to win.
Post 4: 4/1 CAMOMILLA’S LOVE(IRE) (pisano3)
This girl is full of love and boy does she look it. An absolute stunner if I say so. out of (ROB’S SPIRIT (IRE) x CELTIC SWING(GB) x DANEHILL). Rob’s Spirit out of Theatrical is an under-utilised sire and could produce anything here to be honest. I like these types of horses as their sires are usually unproven and could produce the magical star you have been looking for. Hard to tell how good this girl is going to be but if she runs as good as she looks she’ll win this race by miles.
