6 Colts will battle it out in this Maiden Special Weight

I have herd some people say Kentucky is the home of horse racing.  It looks like we have a dandy of a race for your first race at Kentucky this week.  6 horses, all who have not won a race, will be battling it out for their shot at their first win.  This will come in a Maiden Special Weight.  First in like we have

 SNARKY REMARK- At 3/1, this guys looks like he has a pretty good shot at winning.  He is post position #1.  His jockey, P. Cadigan, has 224 races under his belt this year.  33 of which he has won.  He has a nice ITM of 43%.  He earns 7,204 dollars per race, and has a total of 1,613,639 dollars earned this year.  Snarky’s proud owner is looneylopo.  Our next runner is

 BOB’S CAT– This little colt is sitting in there at 8/1.  He is post position #2.  His rider today goes by the name of J. Yount.  He is not quite the jockey of all time.  With only 37 races this year he has just 9 wins, places, or shows.  He has an ITM of  32%, and makes about 4.5k per race.  Now on the board is

 SELKRATS– This colt knows all to well about these races.  Sitting at pp #3, this is the only colt who has raced before. Look for this colt to try and take the lead as that is what he did in his last race.  He is sitting at 9/2 right now and will be rode by B Alt.  B Alt has 72 races under his belt this season.  He has one problem though, he only has 1 win.  That’s right 1 win is all he has though he does have 4 places, and 8 shows.  His ITM is 18% and he only earns 1,721 per race.  And now we come to your favroit…….

  AMAMBO DUANE-  Yes he is the favorite sitting at 3/5.  Everyone may bet on him, but don’t count any of the other horses out.  Like all the others (except Selkrats) he has not raced before.  His jockey will be D. Givins.  Givins this year has 231 races under his belt, with a 25% win.  He has won 58 races and placed, or showed in 75 others.  This is a pretty good jockey, and The only one so far that has earned over 2 million dollars.  His ITM is very good sitting at 57%.  Don’t stop reading yet because we still have 2 more to go.

   SWIMMINGLY- Is the long shot of this race sitting at 22/1.  22/1 is a nice little odd, and that doesn’t count you out.  This horse will be ridden by P. Carrier.  Carrier this year is 39 races, but only 1-2-1.  His ITM and Winning percents only add up to be 12.6 percent.  This is one of the worst and least riding jockeys in this race.  Don’t count this jockey out though, because he has earned over 5 million in his career.  Last but not least is

   POSTAL- This is the next to last favorite.  This colt is pp #6 and is sitting at 13/1.  This boys jockey isn’t the best either with 30 races he is the lowest of them all.  In those 30 races he has 1 win and 3 shows.  He has earned 46k this year and is looking to make it more in this Maiden Special Weight.  He has and ITM of 13% which is ok for a jockey who has only ridden 30 times.  This horse is the proud colt of bmorris.
