Ruby Slipper Lead Up
As week 3182 approaches and the first installment of the Australian Conglomerate Ruby Slipper Preludes become a reality, Gianluigi Aggulotto (ladofmanor) appears unfazed by trouble stirred up by fellow conglomerate member Deyoto Lefranse in recent weeks.
However whilst the cool, calm and collected Aggulotto takes it all in his stride, reports through minutes ago are that Tara (head mistress at the Briant Breeding & Racing Empire) is infuriated by the outlandish comments and false allegations. In a statement released just now by Tara, she states that “both the mouth from the border where there ain’t no water in Deyoto Lefranse and his sim minnow brother who’s nags would not win a race at the St. Andrews market goat racing on Saturday mornings should tread carefully and sleep with one eye open after unsubstantiated and unheralded attacks on both her and her toy boy lover come sim trainer.
As always, Aggulotto will let his boom 2yo’s do the talking in both the 2yo colt and filly prelude with leading hopes Cryptovator (colt, Motivator X Cryptoclearance X Kingmambo) and Rattle N’ Hum (filly, Sakhee X Forty Niner X Northern Dancer).
He said “everytime Deyoto Lefranse and Wolfgang Vansheen enter against me, they come off second best and this will be the case again this week. I have offered Lefranse a shootout with his champ King Of Kilmore against my pride Freeze and it looks as if he is continually dodging me.”
However on the back of a last start flop by Freeze at 14f, Aggulotto looks almost certain to drop his 4yo Zabeel colt back to 10f and directly into the path of the Lefranse trained G1 Coxless Stakes place getter. “I thought he may have wanted more ground but it now looks as if he will fly at 10f and I look forward to a long awaited date with destiny. I call Lefranse to name a week and a race for this shootout and hope he can find it within to accept my challenge.”
In a parting shot at fellow conglomerate members Vansheen and Nog, Aggulotto said that after winning the preludes and the Ruby Slipper, he will then look to buy out their dwindling stables and allow them to stay on as stable hands on a casual basis.
