BARB’S DUBIA to go 5 for 5 ???

Undefeated Barb’s Dubia highlight the Their Capote Challenge this week at Ontario, the 7f dirt race carry’s a purse of $75,000.  
#1 BARB’S DUBIA   will break from the rail as the 9/5 favorite.  Undefeated in four tries, he’s just shy of $100k in earnings.  The two time stakes winner is currently ranked 18th, and loves to please his fans with excitingly close finishes (3 of the 4 by less then a lenght).  Last time out was a 3/4 win in the Babes Plates Stakes at 6.5f SP87.
#2 FREEDM SLAVE   is 4/1-0-1.  He struggled on the turf his first three tries, only winning once with a SP62.  Switch to dirt last time improvement his SP to 79, and placing 3rd.
Needs to improve once again.
#3 EAGLE SWORD   is 3/1-0-1 by Griffinite.  He won 1st time out with a solid SP75 over 5.5f dirt, then placed a decent stakes 6th (against a field of 12), and last last out was allowance 3rd at 7f SP79.  Needs to improve, but a top 3 isn’t out of the question.
#4 MAGPIES PARK   is looks like he has potential, a son of Ecton Park ran 2nd first time out SP77 at 4.5f, then with added distance he won 7f’s with a SP79.  Both msw against full fields, jumps into stakes company and could be ready for the challenge.
#5 STROLLPRINCE   is the longshot of the field, Stroll x Pulpit.  He won a msw 1st time out SP77 on 2405!  But in his next three tries he failed to do better then 11th 🙁   Don’t you hate horses that run great fto then can’t repeat it.  Breeder sigone, decide that was enough to slappy became the new owner (via auction?), a deadlast in nw2l resulted in a drop to the claiming rankes 6f $20,000.  Mikeb most of saw untapped potential as he put in the claim, the result was a win with a SP71…  Now a jump to stakes…
#6 THE USUAL   is a solid colt by Hennessy x Roar, with a 3/1-2-0 record.  Winner of msw 1st time out, SP77.  He’s since placed 2nd in a pair of stakes, SP80 and 85.  The last was the 6.5f Babes Plate where he placed behind today’s favorite Barbs Dubia, can he get his revenge today?  We will see.
