 PULLING WISDOM    3 – 1

Going off as the second choice last time out Pulling Wisdom just did not seem to have in in his last trying the Blubby Turf Mare Mile in a small field falling to the rear fairly quickly, and just settling in the rear the rest of the way.  She has had a tough year on the track failing to ignite when the competition gets tougher but doing well leading up to all the preps for stakes competition. Could be bad racing luck as her numbers rating really haven’t dropped but maybe she has reached  her limit speed wise.

She does seem to do her best running though coming from off the pace and if her pattern holds true , then she is ready to pop the win here again. She will need fast early pace to make this happen though.

Her race in Hong Kong the Dead Solid Perfect Turf Mare Route was much of the same , breaking poorly and just could never get it going  until very late where she picked off tiring ones but was well back of the front running pack in the end.

Hard to gauge this one and trying to do so is like pulling wisdom teeth !

    NORDIC VIKING GIRL     10 – 1

Nordic Viking Girl may be just a little out of her class here but will once again give it a shot at the  stakes level. The campaign thus far has had little glory for her as she is tested hard showing poor results in most of her races. In her latest the  Gds Olympic Star Turf Mare Route she quickly found the back of the pack and managed to move up a few spots in the end passing more tiring horses. Unfortunately for her she has proven that this level is just not for her and maybe should be considered in the mid to lower range ALW races where at the 43,800 level she got on track much earlier than usual and found herself looking at the lead coming home only to get her wings clipped right at the end. She fits better there.

Possible dirt shot for her in the future but cannot see her being anywhere in this race.

THEBOOKOFEZEKIEL     9 – 2

This filly come out of the 2014 season into the new year swinging entering the Southbound Moose Turf Mare Route given midrange chance and finishing well back of the top three. She probably out of that race better seasoned,m and after 5 ALW tries she has been given the chance to test the stakes level once again following a nice win in Germany. She was full of  run that day getting to the top around the mid way mark and just never looking back. She should find these a little testier and it will let her handlers know if she is ready to try many more of these types in the near future heading into the new season.

She could be the one who is the NOW HORSE coming into this race, or she could just have peaked on the right day only to have her slump the next out like she did a few back when running a dynamite 104 Sp rating only to falter in the next couple before regaining form.

REWARD TICKET     7 – 2

Reward Ticket has been popping some big figures as of late and maybe showing signs of coming into her own. Although she will not go off as the favorite here she definitely might be the one to fear if she continues with her strong performances. She comes off a big win stalking the pace the whole way and when it was time she made her move and romped easily at the 60700 ALW level. She recently gave the Kgbeast Turf Filly Mile a try and showed what she was made of finishing a very respectable 2nd where it looked like she had the win but a rallying type nipped her at the wire. She may need a little speed here to run at for everything to go her way.

TERRIBLE BEAUTY     9 – 5

Terrible Beauty looks to be the early morning favorite and has had a wonderful turf career to start winning 9 of 17 tries on that surface. She seemed like she was struggling somewhat mid year where she was taking on stakes company and was running nice numbers but just could not get any traction so in August she was given a chance to run in the dirt and voila career resurrected, putting up very good numbers and just burning up the front end of track. She did run her eyeballs out in last and still had her wings clipped in the end by the long shot Miss Misbehaving . Only good can come from those races though and she is now set to return to the turf to take on this lot. If she decides to take the lead this day she may be long gone before the rest of the contenders wake up.

BACK CHANNELS     5 – 1

Back Channels comes of a win at the lower ALW levels last out, in decent fashion, scoring in a small field , where she just was not challenged and she takes on a bit of a scorcher here compared to that to gauge her whereabouts at this time of season. She also likes the lead which is good cause someone needs to put the heat on the favorite, but will she kill herself doing it. To her credit she has shown in stakes company twice before, and so I would not consider her to be a push over in this race but the odds are stacked against her  this time out . Seems like all the styles needed to win are maxed out and she is a likely candidate to hang in this field. To make matters worse she is shipping in from South Africa to The Czech Republic to race and the traveling might have an effect on her. I am not looking for reasons for her to lose but looking for reasons why she might win. I think today might be just a good day to pass on her.
