Ran 5^th last time out in a 6.5 furlongs $11200 NW3n at Jamaica, always in around the same position, recording a 95. A much better effort the time before that when coming from off the pace in a 6 furlong $9900 NW3t allowance race from Puerto Rico to finish second with a 105.May need something similar to get in the shake up here.

Returned to form last time out recording a 102 to win a 6 furlongs  $20000 S A , pulling of a 22/1 shock (always handy). This may indicate a return to the kind of form he showed as a 4 YO when winning two consecutive races with a 108 and a 107.The latter of these two wins was The Laxe Stakes ran over 5 furlongs, although he has shown form over 6.5. If he is back after a spell in the wilderness, he may prove to be a dark horse.

Classy performer who boasts a grade1 win to his name. In cracking form winning his last 3 over 7 furlongs. The last two wins with a speed rating of 107.Frontrunner who may take all the beating, the only possible quibble on his prospects being that he has always perfomed slightly better over 7 than he has at 6.5, but perhaps that is knitpicking.

Double stakes winner this term, over 7 furlongs and more latterly 7.5 furlongs, perhaps fulfilling some of the potential ha showed as a 2 YO when fourth in a grade1.Personally I think  he would have a better chance if this race was ran over 7 furlongs. He has the speed figures to suggest at his best he can be a big danger, but will he be outpaced?

Consistent performer in his own grade, having won 10 of his 29 races .Highly tried in his last 3, all stakes, he did manage a 2^nd in the first of these over 7.5 furlongs. Has managed a 103  over 6.5 furlongs earlier this season, and may need a slight improvement on that to figure here. He has improved as a 4 YO, so it may not be out of the realms of possibility.

Veteran of 50 runs winning ten. Capable of smart form on his day, as when going down by a head in The Cat Strut Stakes four runs back, but that was over 7.5 furlongs and he may find this 6.5 furlong trip a little on the sharp side .Shown little since. Sorry not for me.

This multiple stakes winning mare became a grade1 winner earlier this season when winning the Cash Asmussen  at the equinics, recording a 107 over this same trip. Followed up with wins in a stakes and a grade3. Disappointed last time out but if she can find her early season form would have an excellent chance on the book.

Tough genuine and consistent, has been out of the money only once in his last 11 runs, winning 6 of these. Guaranteed to run his race the only problem is most of his winning has come in allowance company so this represents a step up in class. Although reportedly in fine fettle, may have to rely on one or two disappointing to win gold.

This one looked to have a big future as a 3 YO and although he has retained ability and runs consistently, is still looking for that elusive stakes win. Stepping down in trip a little, it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world if he came good here, but for me there are one or two ahead of him in the pecking order.

In and out performer, very capable on his day when showing in the AMAD DEAL memorial stakes over the trip. Showed good toe that day to sit with the leader and take it up at halfway, running out a comfortable 1 ¼ lengths winner. The speed figure of 109 would see him take this I believe, but he hasn’t managed it in 4 subsequent runs. Ran a 95 last week over this trip. Was that a warm up for this?

This well bred horse has won 7 of his 31 races, mostly at 6 furlongs. Would have to show speed figures that he hasn`t showed before to figure here. Won last time out over 6 furlongs allowance NW1t at Tasmania, recording a speed rating of 92.

Like a fine wine this horse seems to be getting better with age. Has looked really unlucky at times this season, three times finishing second in stakes races and finishing second in a grade2. Put all that behind him last week to win the NOTION TEDDY stakes in Portugal over seven, leading from trap to wire. His impressive speed rating of 107 made it four times in the last five races he has ran 106 or higher. On the downside this will be his third run in twenty-one days. Can he be as good as last week?

Winner of seven of his twenty seven races. Ran 100 over this trip four runs back when finishing second in a $22000 allowance, although disappointed at the trip last time out two weeks ago. Might have to run a lifetime best just to get into the shake up.Not for me.

Prolific winner this term, entering the winners enclosure on no less than seven occasions. Won two stakes races in his last three runs including last time out when winning the CAT STOCKS special stakes in Norway over six furlongs with a speed rating of 103. Would surely be a danger over six, but I suspect he isn`t as good over six and a half.

Become a stakes winner for the very first time two runs back, recording a respectable 106 when winning the LAST BOY SCOUT stakes over six furlongs at Pennsylvania, confirming his liking of rain softened ground. Disappointed  slightly in a stakes over six last time out. Will the extra half furlong help or hinder his chances. Jurys out.

Conclusion:

A tricky twenty runner allowance that will no doubt be fought hard for. Flying wild would have got my vote if it were not for his punishing schedule. Im going to take the in form SLY CAT to beat FLY SO FREE and SOUTHCLASSYNSMART and make it a cleansweep for EAAA.
