Small Field of Fillies For The AH VIA MUSICOM Memorial Stakes

A small and relatively weak field of 3yo sprinting fillies vie for racing honours this week in The AH VIA MUSICOM Memorial Stakes. With the highest ranking in the race being 66, there is a great opportunity for a filly to step up and claim some much needed stakes points. Here’s the field,

MISSING THEE(FR) ~ Back over the sprints after a slightly disappointing run last start over a mile. Will be just sitting off them and expected to find the line well.

DOLLY SOKS(IRE) ~ Lightly raced, unfashionably bred but looks to have oodles of talent after a win and a placing from 2 starts. Very speedy out of the gates so the drop back in distance can only help.

SPUNKY DANCER(IRE) ~ A stakes winner and very consistant but facing her acid test here. Needs to lift a notch.

STEAMIN’ DEALER ~ Also a stakes winner but has been a little flat lately and needs to improve on latest efforts to win this one.

PURE AS GOLD ~ Multiple stakes winner on dirt but yet to win on the turf. Gets her chance here in this easier race.

IRISH PRAYER(IRE) ~ Never too far away and looks a major player with Wyatt steering and probably facing an easier task than her last couple of runs.
