The SECRET SHOT Stakes

1. 98407 LONG BLACK LINE golong(owner) Even(odds). The 2yo colt by Congaree is the even money favorite in here, yet he has not ever run on turf in 8 career starts. He is about an average runner on dirt, his record is 8(1,2,2). He has probably the best pedigree in this field, his sire was a dirt horse who could run at many distances, not sure how he will handle the turf though. He likes to come from behind, but doesn’t get to the finish line in first place a lot. I would have to pick against him here.

2. 35508 CAME DANCING alittlebit 4/1. A 2yo colt by Mr. Greeley. His dam was a very nice turf sprinter. This little guy has a record of 5(2,1,1) on turf. Also if you don’t count the wet turf races he has had, he has 2 wins and a 2nd from 3 starts. He’s only one of two horses in here who has a turf win and as the longest shot in here, I won’t be surprised if he comes in second here or win in an upset.

3. 78521 FLYING KIRBY(AUS) rutakirby 5/2. A 2yo colt by Flying Spur. This guy has 4 starts and only one race which was on turf which was his last; a 8f turf stakes which he came in 4th losing by 7+ lengths. In his 4 starts he has routed twice and sprinted twice, his best races came in the sprints. So if he can handle the turf I think he can be a major contender in here.

4. 103648 TOPSIDER KAILEY maidendash 2/1. A 2yo colt by Kailey Senor. She has raced three times, her first 2 races were on dirt where she was average and then her last start where she made her debut on turf. Winning easily by 2 lengths at this same distance, she has the highest winning SP in here with a 80 as well. I think she is the one to beat in here, I believe she’ll win this.
