saturday in japan we have 14 2 year old fillys going after a million dollar purse,
there is no real favorite, odds range from 7/1 to 17/1 on the longshot ,we have a
pretty evenly matched field,6 of the fine young fillys have already won a graded race.
the filly Poa annua is at 8/1 after she almost won her breeders bowl race finishing 2nd
by ahead, five had there try at winning the breeders bowl race even though they had no
success ,they are looking to redeem thier self in the last big race of the year.well
lets take a look at this years field

(1)MARJ CREEPER 9/1 4 3 0 1 $80,900

MARJU (IRE) x UNBRIDLED’S SONG x GONE WEST

Owner: amandas
Breeder : amandas

Foaled in IRE

the winner of 3 out of 4 starts, including -Five Star Rabbit Turf Juvenile Fillies stakes
last time out ,has hit 90 spr last 2 starts ,this filly has a lot of drive in the stretch
going off at 9/1 ,she looks to be a threat at the end,her mom was a stakes winner her self,
she looks to make her mom and trainer proud once more.

(2)MON AFFAIR 11/1 12 1 2 5 $124,408

PRINCE CONTI (NZ) x MONARCHOS x COLONIAL AFFAIR

Owner: perdido7
Breeder : perdido7

Foaled in NZ

here we have a well rounded filly haveing ran in 12 races already and proving to be a force to
reckon with every time she steps in the gate .after breaking her maiden on dirt at 64/1 she has
been turning heads, two starts ago in the g2 winter gin she ran out of room comeing up short to
finish 2nd , her last start a 7 furlong dirt liken it local final she closed to finish 3rd ,her
last two starts she has hit 90 spr I look for her to close fast and if the leaders wear each
other out she could make her owner deep rock one proud trainer.

(3)TAKESONETOKNOWONE 9/1 5 2 0 1 $107,100

DUBAWI (IRE) x GALILEO (IRE) x LAST TYCOON (IRE)

Owner: blankpoin3
Breeder : blankpoin3

Foaled in ENG

this well bred filly hasn’t managed to win at this level but she can and will win at this level,
if she runs her kinda race she’ll be flying around the last turn home ,if it’s clear she could
leave them in her dust ,four of her starts have been at 8 furlongs ,she can handle the distance
with ease, I look for her to make a move late as the early speed wear down coming to the wire.

(4)ROCK OF KEEPRITE 9/1 6 1 1 1 $309,880

ROCK OF GIBRALTAR (IRE) x DEPUTY MINISTER (CAN) x SEATTLE SLEW

Owner: keeprite
Breeder : keeprite

Foaled in IRE

this nicely bred filly hasn’t won at this level, but in her last three starts she has faced graded
company ,managing a place and show finish with her sprs improving with each start, she’s going to be
hard to out run in the stretch the longer distance should be to her likeing ,I look for her to make
a drive in the stretch if she’s close it’s hers to lose.

(5)MONEY INDYSKY 10/1 4 3 0 0 $351,120

MONSUN (GER) x A.P. INDY x NIJINSKY 2ND (CAN)

Owner: etonic
Breeder : etonic

Foaled in GER

this well bred filly has a grade one to her credit already winning the Filly Grand Prix* over 8 furlongs
pulling away in the stretch ,but she was caught up in traffic in her breeders bowl start, she’ll have to
get closer to the front or could end up caught in traffic again, she has three wins in four starts but she
has yet to break 90 spr,she has the abilty and breeding to run away from the field, will she be able to free
her self from the field ,I think she can.

(6)MY TREASURE 14/1 5 3 1 0 $93,515

WESTERN WINTER x SADLER’S WELLS x NIJINSKY 2ND (CAN)

Owner: sticks1
Breeder : texasace

Foaled in SAF

this nice filly has won three out of four starts including the 8 furlong Unbridled Motion Turf Juvenile Fillies
stakes last time out, haveing won three in a row after changing ownership, and a little lay off.she came close to
breaking 90 last time out,if she can hold up with this field she could surprize every one.

(7)MONTANA BLANCO 8/1 4 3 0 0 $151,500

CAPE BLANCO (IRE) x TALE OF THE CAT x LYPHARD

Owner: montanarox
Breeder : yoz

Foaled in KY

this scratch bred filly started out winning her first three starts with ease winning the Anabaa Prospect Turf Juvenile Fillies
stakes in her 2nd start, then coming back to win the grade 3 The Natalie* stakes, before she went to the lead in the breeders
bowl race only to get caught in the final turn home . she will be in the lead coming to the last turn but i’m not
sure she will be able to keep it as there are a few stalkers waiting to take her down if she can get far enough ou
front it will be all hers.

(8)VIC DATRIPPER 11/1 7 2 3 1 $283,900

VICTOIRE PISA (JPN) x GULCH x DEHERE

Owner: oxymoron2
Breeder : oxymoron2

Foaled in JPN

this filly has been turning heads in her last three races which all have been in graded company and has hit the
pay sheet all three times, posting a 2nd in the g2 -The Young Lady* stakes,a 2nd in the g2-Spring Hill Stakes*
and in her most recent start a 3rd in the breeders bowl filly juvy coming off the pace making up 8 lenths in
the stretch only a lenth and a half back ,not sure if she’ll be able to be that far back this time with the
speed the are going to the post i see no worse than 3rd here.

(9)POA ANNUA 8/1 8 4 2 0 $790,120

GIANT’S CAUSEWAY x KINGMAMBO x SADLER’S WELLS

Owner: balata
Breeder : sherwoodpk

Foaled in KY

here we have a two time grade winner ,and in her last start missed winning the Breeders’ Bowl Filly Juvy Turf*
finnishing 2nd by a head and posting a swift 96 spr,she has won the Gift Of Given Turf Juvenile Fillies stakes,
the g2-The Why You Buggin Stakes* and the g1-The Nonethorpe* stakes, she has enough speed and stamina to take
on this fine field,if she has a clean trip it’s all hers to win i see her in the top three with no problem.

(10)PACHAMAMA 12/1 6 3 0 0 $136,166

PLEASANTLY PERFECT x MEDICEAN (GB) x FANTASTIC LIGHT

Owner: patluc2
Breeder : patluc2

Foaled in KY

this filly has won three of six starts since swiching over to turf she has put up some blistering times winning
twice in a row,one of those wins was the g-3 The Winter Gin Special* with a awsome 93 spr.she has what it takes
to win in this tough company ,I look for her to start her drive when she hits the last turn she has the drive
to catch the leaders if she stays close in the stretch she could upset the field.

(11)RUNNING NORTH 10/1 4 3 1 0 $56,525

NORTHERN METEOR (AUS) x EL PRADO (IRE) x ROBERTO

Owner: lenny15
Breeder : crazyjoe

Foaled in AUS

this filly has looked a little like her mom who was a million dollar earner ,she’s comeing off back to back wins
one of which was a listed stakes where she pulled away from the field in winning the Irish Crusader Turf Juvenile Fillies
stakes this is her first test with the big girls the odds makers like her chances and if she’e anything like her
mom it won’t be a surprize to see her win this one she’s my choice to pull it off .

(12)ANDNOWNOT 17/1 8 2 2 1 $166,278

OASIS DREAM (GB) x CURLIN x RAINBOW QUEST

Owner: poggendorf
Breeder : poggendorf

Foaled in ENG

this nicely bred filly has won two of eight with one of those wins being the g-3 The Princess Margo* stakes, but her most recent
start she ran into tons of trouble finishing last in the g-3 The Winter Gin Special*,she also hasn’t topped a 90 spr
as of yet she would need everything to go her way to pull off the upset here.

(13)VIA MEYDAN 7/1 9 3 3 1 $568,335

ROCK OF GIBRALTAR (IRE) x UNBRIDLED’S SONG x SADLER’S WELLS

Owner: brabant
Breeder : brabant

Foaled in IRE

winner of 3 out of 9 starts ,with two of those being graded races, the g-3 The Mother Lois* stakes and the g-1 More Glare Stakes*
she also ran 2nd in the g-1 The Chevel* stakes ,but her most recent start wasn’t her best effort as she ran middle of the
pack and faded at the end ,this field is tough but if she is sharp no reason why she won’t leave em behind here.

(14)CAN IMPACT 12/1 5 3 1 0 $75,880

CANFORD CLIFFS (IRE) x DEEP IMPACT (JPN) x SADLER’S WELLS

Owner: willypike
Breeder : willypike

Foaled in IRE

this good looking filly has won two in a row including the Giant Lark Turf Juvenile Fillies stakes where she won
easly ,this race will be her first big test, and she looks to be ready to step up with the big girls and they don’t
get much bigger than this field, she’ll be near the front ,but with the closer in this field she better get a big lead
she just may have the speed to hold them off and I would’nt be surprized to see her pull it off.

good luck to all the trainers and there fine fillys
