We have five lady’s lineing up for saturdays 15th race at Delmar’s summer meet,we have the eighty fourth ranked filly faceing the only one other in the top 200 turf classic rankings, the ninety five thousand in prize money is not to shappy a purse for a listed stakes race,The early favorite is CURIOUSLY HOT  the daughter of  UNUSUAL HEAT crossed with EL PRADO(IRE) xDIXIELAND BAND, she’s going off at 6/5 here, well lets take alook at the field.

1 ) MY MISS BARB(FR)             maxie          ( delpenn)          J Nabbs   12%         4/1

Turf      1 -0- 0- 0  $2,500
Total    9 -2 -3 1-  $68,700
this young lady is going off at 4/1 and even though this is only here 2nd start on the turf ,she has a good shot at getting her nose out front,if she can get a good lead with out burning her self out she has a good chance here.

2 ) CURIOUSLY HOT(CA)         padrebri4          (GR Simsters)      F Gossett    28%     6/5

this lovely lady has been running in graded company in her last three starts manageing a 2nd and third out of three starts, her last trip she went just a little to long ,the mile distance here is much more to her likeing, she should have no problem here.

 3 )  ELECT TO LIVE(KY)    bentley    ( Universal Racing Club)     F Allen       16%     9/2
(GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) x EL PRADO(IRE) x STREET CRY (IRE))

Total      9- 4- 2- 0   $67,355
this GIANT’S CAUSEWAY filly already has one stakes win to her credit two starts back, that race was a little longer at 9.5 furlongs ,but she had trouble in her next start going 9 furlongs, with a smaller field and shorter distance, she may get back in  form here, I like her chances for a top 3 finnish here.

4 )  SAVAGELY(KY)        mtkplaz      (   Blazing Saddles)            M Staples    13%       3/1

this daughter of  STREET CRY  is on a two race win streak ,she loves to come from off the pace, she looks to move up in the rankings with a good showing here ,she has the talent and the bloodlines to be a strong stakes winner.

5 )  SPOTS(KY)    goody             Kentucky Horsemen                 O Brim         22%     4/1
(BIG BROWN x TOUCH GOLD x PRIVATE ACCOUNT)
Bred by goody

Routes   8- 1- 4- 0   $42,162
Total    11- 2- 5 -0   $53,035
this good looking filly out of BIG BROWN loves to be on the front end ,and she has plenty of early speed to get out front and hold on she will have to hold back some of the blazing early speed to be around at the end ,I think her jocky has a good game plan with this filly ,a show spot at worst is what I see.

well good luck to all the trainers and the fine fillys.
