Now we can move on to the Phase-2 Preview. With the race distances expanding from 7 furlongs in Phase-1 to 8.5 furlongs in Phase-2, the outcomes will more than likely be very different. Will trainers bother to run back with the same horses? Or try to qualify a different horse? Taking into consideration that there will be 4 more opportunities to qualify a 3YO and four chances to qualify a 2YO.
