Last start winner of the Queen’s Vow Turf Filly Memorial over 7.5f, she reached her best SP of 97, indicating she might want even longer. Is likely to go forward and sit up on the speed, and if she can keep improving on her last start, she will be very hard to run down.

PP2 TEA AND BISCUITS(IRE) (TEOFILO x GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) x KINGMAMBO) uffda 12/1
An easy winner of both starts, this scratch bred chestnut filly is stepping up quickly in grade, but the dominance that she has shown her rivals so far indicates she could be up to it. Her first start over 7f saw her sit just worse than midfield for the first half of the race, before she exploded, to hit the front at the top of the stretch and then kept it going to power away and win by almost 4 lengths. She then moved up to a mile and it was a similar story. Meets a much tougher field here, and experience is against her, but looks to have some genuine speed, and should be finishing on strongly.

PP3 RAILBIRDS VIEW(KY) (STREET SENSE x DEEP IMPACT x DEPUTY MINISTER) foals2011 8/1
A modest start to her career on dirt, was quickly put behind her when she switched to turf, where she immediately broke through for her first and second wins in as many attempts. Two starts ago she stepped up to stakes class and although no match for the winner, she put in a strong performance in finishing second, and running her career best SP of 89. She led into the stretch last time out, but was run down and again finished second in a sound run, but she failed to keep improving on her previous runs. Moving up in grade, this is certainly no easier, but if she can settle in the first couple early on, she will be hard to get passed.

PP4 THE FIJIAN(NZ) (ZABEEL(NZ) x ELUSIVE QUALITY x PIVOTAL(GB)) surf4bass1 7/2
A versatile filly who has shown good performances on both turf and dirt, she makes another switch, this time back to turf, after finishing 8th in the Lever Sparky, and before that, 6th, in the Breeders Bowl Juvenile Filly. Her highest SP was over this distance, but so far all 3 of her wins have been in sprints, so her versatility is not helping her trainer work out her best conditions. Her breeding suggests she should be well suited here, and two graded wins mean she proven at this level. Down in class from her previous couple of starts and will be finishing off strongly.

PP5 CROWDED MIND(KY) (MEDAGLIA D’ORO x A.P. INDY x MR. PROSPECTOR) ritchie 3/1
The 4th ranked 3yo turf filly will start the morning line favourite, following another strong finish last start in the Secret the Secret Turf Juvenile Fillies Stakes, where she settled well back at the tail of the field and ran on late to grab 3rd place. Her previous run saw her get even further back off the lead, and again she stormed home, and it took super filly Miss Timoshenko to beat her, in the Grade 1 Juvenile Filly. Career best of SP 98 was posted in that race, and a repeat of that sort of speed should see her go close to winning here. The one to beat.

PP6 GIANT IX CHEL(KY) (GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) x SADLER’S WELLS x ALYDAR) daniel6 7/2
A winner of 3 from 4 of her career starts, this filly from the same stables as King Tachyon, has been dominant in her last 2 runs, beating allowance fields by 1 ¼ and then 3 ½ lengths, both times over a mile on turf. She steps up to this grade for the second time, the other attempt saw her get beaten for speed early, and then finish soundly to run 3rd over 6f. Has appeared to appreciate the extra distance at her last two, and again gets an extra half furlong to work with here. A little further improvement should see her go very close again.

PP7 MONSTER OF NATURE(IRE) (LOPE DE VEGA x GONE WEST x FORTY NINER) nomane 14/1
Generous odds for the winner of the Grade 2 Rockefeller two starts ago, who then went into the Grade 1 Juvenile Filly, where something went amiss, and she finished with an SP of 0. Very speedy, and will likely go forward to either lead or settle in the first couple, as she has done at every start over sprint distances, where she has also not finished outside of the top 2. Her best SP was 92 back in October, and provided she has recovered from her last start problems, she is one of the main chances, despite what her odds.

PP8 BEAU NAVIRE(KY) (AWESOME AGAIN x SECRETARIAT x ALYDAR) adrian4 8/1
Big step up in grade for this ever improving filly, who failed badly at her first start, on dirt, but then immediately turned it around when she switched to turf at her second start. Since then, she has finished on the board at all of her 3 runs, including one dominant win over a mile, when she was slow away, but then cruised by her rivals, going on to win by almost 3 lengths. Despite her speed figure being better at her last time out, she came up against a very tough field and was over run, finishing third. This field is tougher again, and she will need to keep getting better again to figure in the finish.

[2

post-9930","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
