Simien on board <STRONG>Salto Weissbach<\/STRONG> wished the <EM>Fat Nation Stakes<\/EM> was one mile and five feet.\u00a0On the other hand, winning colt <STRONG>Spare T(Ire)<\/STRONG>&#8216;s daddy would have been proud. The two year old&#8217;s heart-pounding stakes win certainly was &#8216;Theatrical&#8217; (Spare T&#8217;s sire).<\/P><P><FONT style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f0e8d8\">Spare T spent much of the race stalking early\u00a0leader <STRONG>Meadow Mambo(IRE)<\/STRONG> and made his push just before the top of the stretch, passing Meadow Mambo and dueling with 2nd favorite <STRONG>Haafhd Hollandia(GB)<\/STRONG>. Just when it seemed to be a two horse race, up the track came the flying Salto Weissbach. Salto made up almost 7 lengths and edged past Haafhd Hollandia for the place money, just missing by a head at the wire.<\/FONT><\/P><P><FONT style=\"BACKGROUND-COLOR: #f0e8d8\">Both the winner and the runner-up finished with an 89 Speed fig, Haafhd Hollandia with an 87.
