Almost got the top two in last weeks Spotlight race in Ireland correct.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The favorites looked to be the best in the field and gave On a Thin Line the edge over co-favorite Red Galileo.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>But in the end, Red Galileo battled from start to finish with On a Thin Line and won the race by a full stride.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Big Boob was my third choice, who I thought would set the pace.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Instead, Big Boob joined the front end battle with the top two winners but faded off after passing the half way marker and finished fifth.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Formal Approach got there to take third at 9-1.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/P>

The Spotlight race for this week comes to us from Montana.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>And the lucky race number is 7.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is a claiming race with a tag of $4k\u00a0 <\/SPAN>A field of eight are competing in a race open to all horses age four and up.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/P>

They will be going a distance of a mile and an eighth on the turf and the race is restricted to non-winners of a race in the past six months.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The skies are overcast for the event, but the weatherman says \u201cno rain\u201d so we have firm turf conditions.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Now we\u2019ll try to find a winner in this group!<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Opgoedgeluk\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>5-1\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/SPAN>-Last won in February with 94 speed for 9 furlongs when claimed.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has been going maybe a bit too much, every three weeks and speeds have diminished.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Race three weeks ago after a month and half rest with no improvement in speed.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>This is second race back after a rest, which usually generates better results.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Still, may need a little more rest between races.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

2. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Rags Ragland\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>11-1<\/SPAN>-Has been racing mostly at allowance since breaking maiden in early 2010.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Moved to claimers three back and has been dropping in level since then.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Looks to be in a much more appropriate level in this race.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

3.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Stormy Hollow\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>8-1-<\/SPAN>Won back in March going mile with 92 speed.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has been aggressively race with 13 starts in 2011.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has averaged 74 SP in last five starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Maybe showing age a bit and may benefit with more time off between starts.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

4.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Your Warning\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3-1<\/SPAN>-Has performed much better on dirt (in money 15 of 22) than grass (3 of 17 in money).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Finished 3rd<\/SUP> in May on grass with speed of 91 which was run on this track in allowance local bred race.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Recent history shows good outcomes against low claimers.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Comes in off two month rest and could be fresh enough to win this.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

5.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Dancetothe finish\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>4-1<\/SPAN>-Average speeds over last five grass starts in 83, which is competitive in this field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hasn\u2019t won since beginning of 2010.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Facing smaller field than recent races and could get a piece of the pie here.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

6.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Best Bluff\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6-1<\/SPAN>-Expected to be pace setter in this field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has tired badly in last three starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>If he can build a large enough lead, he may last on the front to beat these.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Not much in field to challenge and pressure him on the front, so there is a chance he could pull it off.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/P>

7. \u00a0\u00a0<\/SPAN>T Rex\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6-1 <\/SPAN>\u2013Horse loves to run in the rear of the field.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He\u2019s capable of making a late run to the front but he\u2019s been largely unreliable in getting the job done as is reflected in his two wins in 38 starts.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hasn\u2019t been on dirt in years and may be worth a return effort on that surface.<\/o:p><\/SPAN><\/FONT><\/P>
