This race has attracted some nice horses especially the number 1 rated KING TACHYON(JPN) who will be hoping to have a win here and take his prize earnings beyond 8 million.

Race: The Clubhouse Stakes
Class: Grade II
Distance: A mile and one half
Track Info: Firm Turf
Prize Money: $250,000
Restrictions: All horses, 4 years old and up

Let’s take a look at the horses.

PP#1 155250 NEW MONEY(KY) lenny30 J Bradley $1.8
Starts: 30:11-8-4
Money: $4,671,225
Ranking: 3
Last 5 Starts: 41123

Well our first horse and our equal favourite. 5yo MINESHAFT horse who is ranked third in his division and nearly 5 million in prize money. Has won bigger races than this one and is the one to beat.

PP#2 129999 FAPPI’S EASE(KY) edburgart I Jones $12.0
Starts: 37:9-6-5
Money: $279,309
Ranking: 234
Last 5 Starts: 15007

5yo EASING ALONG horse and first thing you notice is that he hasn’t won lots of prize money for his 9 wins. He is a good horse but this is a harder task here and don’t think he will manage.

PP#3 110821 S R CRY(AUS) tao RT Salo $19.0
Starts: 7:4-3-0
Money: $74,215
Ranking: 804
Last 5 Starts: 11121

Well the long shot of the race and if you look at his form you wonder why. This 4yo KEMPINSKY colt is lighlty raced and yet to finish worse than third, but this is a massive step up in class. If you have any money left put some on him as you can see he improves with every run and we might just witness something special from him.

PP#4 91187 REMEMBER POPS(KY) afc3 T Cooper $4.5
Starts: 27:8-6-4
Money: $992,195
Ranking: 35
Last 5 Starts: 11210

5yo AWESOME AGAIN horse who had a very dissapointing run his last race in the G1-Sand Castle Golden Turf Classic. The bookies have made him second favourite and if he runs well he will win this. The question is will he run well? That’s the problem with him you never know what to expect.

PP#5 179204 SHAMARDANE(IRE) helenus L Anderson $14.0
Starts: 23:6-5-5
Money: $579,707
Ranking: 36
Last 5 Starts: 23113

4yo SHAMARDAL colt who is very consistent but attracted odds of 14/1. I’m sure the owners won’t mind that and they’ll probably put something on him. Not the worst here and a place chance I think.

PP#6 179369 SKUNKJEUREYEV(IRE) beenskunkd I Weinman $5.0
Starts: 19:7-4-1
Money: $598,299
Ranking: 152
Last 5 Starts: 82121

4yo MONTJEU (IRE) colt who has won 3 out of 5 over this distance. Always gives it his all and I’m sure he’ll do the same here and give these a scare at the closing stages of the race. An each-way chance.

PP#7 189282 KING TACHYON(JPN) musse A Craig $1.8
Starts: 23:11-4-1
Money: $7,880,616
Ranking: 1
Last 5 Starts: 91211

5yo KING KAMEHAMEHA(JPN) horse and the other equal favourite. Well this one is a super horse with nearly 8 million in prize money. His last 12 starts have been over the distance with him winning 8 of them, and that just looks great. If he didn’t have the wide barrier I would almost call him unbeatable, but even with the wide draw he’s a big shot here.

So there we have it all is set and ready. Good luck to all involved.

[2

post-9161","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
