This six furlong Stakes is for all two year old comers on the turf course has a purse of $95,000. Lets take a look:

#1 TECHNICOLOR DREAM trainer – cozman19, ( 5/2), Jockey – J. Cozier (10%), Avg Sp # (74.0)
The only filly in our race, this Rainbow Quest out of Shaka Boom offspring is a perfect three for three in her first trips across the grass. She won her maiden three back and two allowances since. She loves the lead and probably will be the early speed here. She has won at this distance but probably likes a mile a bit better. She has done everything asked of her so far by trainer cosman19 and may be able to play nicely with the boys.

#2 BACK TO THE WELL trainer – bigblueone, ( 5/2), Jockey – L. Buchta (11%), Avg Sp # (N/A)
Having only run two races, this Dixie Union out of Full Niner colt won his maiden two back then was beaten handily in the Grade 3 Die ARSE Die Stakes last out at a mile. He threw a nice 78 speed figure but was outclassed in the race. She is dropping down a bit here both in distance and in class so it may serve him well.

#3 GET GOING trainer – koolaid, (14/1), Jockey – W. Case (11%), Avg Sp # (74.2)
Another two race colt, Get Going won his maiden last out and hasn’t raced above that class until now. The Easyfromthegitgo colt has only run at a bit longer distances as well. He seems to be a bit outgunned in this race bu that is why they run the races.

#4 ANY CHANCE trainer – bulddog, ( 6/5), Jockey – W. Baumann (12%), Avg Sp # (78.6)
One race and one win for the well bred Sadler’s Wells x Seattle Slew x NijnskyII colt. He still needs to show what he can do at this level and I always have a hard time choosing a horse in their second race but this big guy looks like he might be the real deal. He grabbed the lead and went gate to wire last out but that may have been because he was just better than the competition. I’m looking forward to seeing him run again.

#5 HALF A HOLE(IRE) trainer – mavrksble2, ( 7/1), Jockey – A. Darling (21%), Avg Sp # (70.3)
One of the “old men” of this race has experience in five races. The Irish bred Swain colt has three seconds and broke his maiden three back with a slow speed and a four horse race. He has the tracks best jockey up in A Darling but it will take all his magic to bring this one home in the winner’s circle.

#6 ROYAL MILLENNIUM trainer –ozzy, ( 11/1), Jockey – V. Gardner (17%), Avg Sp # (68.7)
Definitely the best prepared of these, this Millennium Wind out of Royal West Hawk colt already has a Stakes win in his five races. He is a three time stakes runner and has only finished as low as fourth one time. He likes to hang around the middle of the pack and finish strong. He will need a very strong finish here but with V Gardner up, he will be well guided.

These juveniles can shuffle it around easily but I like ROYAL MILENNIUM to finish fourth just behind TECHNICOLOR DREAM. (I love that name!). It will be ANY CHANCE battling with BACK TO THE WELL but Any Chance will have to be happy with second and wait ‘til next time.

Good luck to all runners!

Paz

[2

post-900","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
