{"id":8963,"date":"2011-03-08T21:11:39","date_gmt":"2011-03-08T21:11:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blacktypebugler.com\/?p=8963"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"oldbtb_2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/btb.ehorseracing.com\/?p=8963","title":{"rendered":"Fabman is life of the party!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><FONT size=2><P><STRONG>By ITCH<\/STRONG><\/P><P><EM>Fabman<\/EM> was the life of the party here in New Orleans in Week 4610, sponsoring a raucous Mardi Gras celebration in honor of <STRONG>FAST TRACK JONES<\/STRONG>, winner of the <EM>Grade 2 $500,000 All Saints Handicap.<\/EM><\/P><P>With a winner&#8217;s share of half a million, Fabman could afford to sponsor the fun. He was ecstatic and especially proud of the ride given by jockey B Rayam. <\/P><P>As expected, <EM>Mtk and Otis&#8217;<\/EM> <STRONG>WHERE DO I SIGN<\/STRONG> sought the early lead from the far outside. Down the backstretch, Rayam faced a tough decision: Fight for the rail or let his opponent cross over. Rayam let him go, and patiently waited behind the leader until the turn for home.<\/P><P>Then, it was Fast Track Jones&#8217; turn to go by on the outside. The 5yo son of Smarty Jones had plenty in the tank to go clear and never was threatened by the second-place runner: <EM>Punter34&#8217;s<\/EM> <STRONG>DIRRTY<\/STRONG>. That one ran on nicely to be second, and had to make a sustained run to get by Where Do I Sign, who was third.<\/P><P>With the victory, Fast Track Jones vaults into the Top 50 of the handicap division. This was a training coup by one of the Sim veteran trainers.
