A 5yo mare by Grade Lodge. She has been running in mostly G1 and G3 races and has done well in some. She just ran in a regular stakes race where she finished 5th, however you can disregard that race since it was a sprint. The race before that she won a G3 8f dirt race with a 106 SP. Her record at 8f is 5(3,0,0), I’m not sure she can win this but she looks like she should definitely pick up 3rd place.

2. 3912 PRICK OF A CAT cjt2 13/1. A 4yo filly by the super sire Storm Cat. She has been a off form in her last three races, finishing 9th, 6th and 10th, all sprints. If you look at her record at 8f on dirt, 3(1,1,0), she could possibly make the top 3 at huge odds. Her SP’s were 104, 104, and 102, and she packs a powerful closing move when racing at 8f. I wouldn’t discount her.

3. 63922 VANGUARD sanchez 2/1. A 4yo fill by Forty Niner, ad is the co-favorite at 2/1. She has 22 starts and only 6 of those have been route races. She has run at 8f four times with a record of 4(1,1,0). All of her races this year have been sprints, she did however post her 2nd highest SP 6 races back, which was last year of a 115. She has the highest SP of anyone in here. I think I would probably take her as the 2nd choice in here.

4. 13476 MINISTER TO DEB theprofit8 6/1. A 4yo filly by Deputy Minister. She’s been racing in allowance company for 5 of her last 7 races doing well in 4 of them. In a G3 at 9.5f this year she lost by 8 lengths. However her overall record at 8f in a nice 10(5,1,1), she was in good form last year but at the beginning of this year she was off until 2 of her last 3 races. In the two races she won two 8f allowance races easily with a 98 and 103 SP. I think she will make the top 5.

5. 56899 MEET THE LEGEND twister 2/1. A 5yo mare by General Meeting, is the other co-favorite at 2/1. She has run in many 8f dirt races and has only 2 wins, but she received her 2 most career high SP’s of 120 and 121. Is coming off a G3 runner up finish at 8f. She has done well in both sprinting and routing. If she can run as good as she did last time out I think she will win this race.

6. 53964 LA TAHONA cjt2 12/1. A 4yo filly by Silver Charm has the most career starts of anyone at 41. This filly has done well in allowance races, but when you look at her stakes and graded races, she hasn’t done that well. A the beginning of the year her SP’s were nice while she was doing average in races, but lately her SP’s have dropped and she might be hitting that wear and tear effect. Her chances here are bad.

7.49226 DIVIDING RANGE(GB) cjt3 26/1. A daughter by Storming Home, is the youngest filly in here as a 3yo and is the longest shot at 26/1. Took her 13 starts to break her maiden. Has yet to even win an allowance race, also has never raced at 8f. Her chances doesn’t look that good as well.

8. 51355 TIME IS ON MY SIDE(AUS) tao 10/1. A 4 yo filly by Viscount. She started out the year well with some wins and SP’s that were high as almost the favorites in here. However in her last 3-4 races she has taken a turn for the worst, losing by 6, 6, and 10 lengths wile her SP’s are below average for a stakes runner. Doesn’t look like she might do much here unless she regains her past form.

My Picks would be MEET THE LEGEND to win, for second would go VANGUARD, and third TETE GRAND END(IRE)

Longshot PRICK OF A CAT

[2

post-890","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
