Christmas Weekend brings us to the 6th<\/SUP> week of shinning the spotlight around.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Last week, none of my top 3 picks found the winner\u2019s circle for the first time.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Affray wone the NW2L allowance race by nearly 2 strides.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>I did state that she \u201cSquares off with horses with similar attributes and may benefit with this change.\u201d\u00a0 <\/SPAN>How true that turned out to be.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

Germany<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> is this weeks stop for the spotlight and the ray of light is pointed to the very first race which happens to be another allowance race.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>For the first time we are looking at a local bred race which is open to all horses age 3 and up.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It\u2019s a conditional dirt race, set for a mile, restricted to horses with at least 5 starts and a CPU value no higher than 410.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>It\u2019s a small field of 6 going to the gate and I\u2019ll try to get back on track with my selections.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

1.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Hoe Hoe Hoe\u00a0 <\/SPAN>7-2<\/SPAN>-appropriately named and racing on this holiday date.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Trainer Oddgermany has targeted smaller fields and local bred races for Hoe Hoe Hoe winning 3 of 11 starts since acquiring horse.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Lots of early speed and comes off two of her best\u00a0 <\/SPAN>speeds of 79 and 80 respectfully (hit 85 in February).\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Others have early speed and will need to avoid a dual for the lead.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

2.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Chawroth\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6-5<\/SPAN> \u2013Has been scoring speeds over 80 for most of 2010 for trainer Rash, but these were on the turf.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Returns to dirt where his top speed was 77, but that was over a year ago and could possibly improve upon it.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has had success recently in local bred level.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Has added benefit of being only male in race.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

3.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Fuzzywuzzywasabear\u00a0 <\/SPAN>8-1<\/SPAN> \u2013Fuzzywuzzywasabear has been active this year for trainer Metallinut appearing in 21 races thus far.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>All but two have been against fields of 6 and under.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>9 of these races have been in Germany<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region> and Fuzzy has one win this year and it was not at this track.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>21 races in one year is far too aggressive for my liking and this style tends to wear down a horse.\u00a0 <\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

4.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Deadly Millennium\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>8-1<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>\u2013Deadly Millennium has been running with speeds between 68 to 75 since trainer Rblking2 took ownership this past summer, however, these were all on the turf.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Deadly moves back to dirt her speeds were pretty similar under her prior trainer running on the dirt.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She\u2019s put in 10 races since August which is rather aggressive, in one instance she had 4-days between races.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She may show improvement with more rest between races.<\/P>

<\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/P>

5. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Double Latte\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>3-1<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>\u2013Double Latte has also appeared in quite a few races this year.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has 17 starts this year with 4 trips to the winner\u2019s circle.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>\u00a0<\/SPAN>She has a handful of races with speeds over 80 which have been followed with a race with a drop in speed.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her last outing recorded a speed of 81 and it looks like a drop in speed is again in her future.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

6.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Bostarsmonsun\u00a0\u00a0 <\/SPAN>6-1<\/SPAN> \u2013Trainer Urcfarms recently snagged Bostarsmonsun for a tag of $2500.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>She has won two consecutive races since joining her new connection and both at this track, but on the turf.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Bred out of Monsun, known for nice turf runners, Bostarsmonsun will try the dirt for the third time.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Her first two were rather poor but is in with local breds and may show improvement.<\/P>

Chaworth gets the top selection.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>His speeds have been good on turf and may transfer over to the dirt and gets the edge against the girls.<\/P>

\u00a0<\/o:p><\/P>

Bostarsmonsun looks better suited for turf but may find a home in the local breds.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>Doing well with new trainer and this may carry over to the dirt.<\/P>
