1 120284 PICK AND CHOSE(AUS) dixon D Aniel 9/2

Rockriver Stables trained 4yrold horse by REDOUTE’S CHOICE (AUS) from the he-mare SAM AND JACK . He has raced 20 times for 9 wins and $1,335,820

In earnings. Unraced at 2yrs he hit the ground running as a 3yrold winning second up 8f msw in a 93sp 4 more wins soon followed. His trainer then went for graded racing producing win in The Crying Station-Stk 8f 118sp and in his last race at 3 won the DPCD VIII The Penn Mile-G1 8f 110sp. Has struggled a bit at 4yrs to date but did have a great win All Comers Stakes 8f 116sp. This seems his pet distance and from the inside draw will race handy and should be there at the finish.

2 110993 SADLER’S DUKE(IRE) ceclaim24 J Lawler 9/1

Royal Belgian Kempen Farm trained 3yrold by DUKE OF MARMALADE (IRE) from the he-mare EVINCIBLE . Lightly raced this colt has raced 7 times for 3 wins and $145,220 in stakes. Bred to run long on turf he has shown himself to advantage so far with wins in The BENELUX Special 2009 — Owner Restricted-Alw 8f 84sp at 2yrs also The BENELUX Special — Owner Restricted-Stk . had a slow start to 3yrold season but has matured into a good horse in last 2 starts won Alw-46200NW3L

8f 105sp and last time out ran 2nd The Messaround-Stk 8f 114sp surging home from the rear of the field. Will need some luck but a win would not surprise.

3 120369 MACKINAW PEACH(KY) wrecks2 R Whisper 5/2

Pompeya Thoroughbred Racing Corporation trained 5yrold horse by VINDICATION x SADLER’S WELLS x BUCKPASSER has had 23 career starts for 11 wins and $1,604,577 in earnings . His numerous win in the top company include the Intercontinental Trophy-G3 8f 111sp three starts back and two starts ago won the Sydney Mile-G1 8f 112sp. Was taken through allowance grades early on by his trainer and that patience is paying dividends now. Likely to lead from this handy draw he could take a power of stopping.

4 82167 DOOTY DA DOO(JPN) astinator0 R Harzheim 6/1

Astins Place trained 3yrold by T. M. OPERA O from ZIGINSKY and is far and away her best runner. He has raced 9 times for 4 wins and $477,830 in his last two starts he has won The Jean Brat-G1 8f 107sp and The HAIL CESARIO Special-Stk also ran 3rd The Irish 2000 Guineas-G1 three starts back in a 108sp hitting his best form at the right time and will keep then honest in this.

5 86370 SUMTER(KY) malekfarms T Nugent 3/1

Afc Stables trained 4yrold by the super sire STORM CAT from the he-mare SECEDE . this guy has raced 22 times for 8 wins and $439,860 in earnings. His trainer worked him through the allowance grades as a 2 and 3yrold with great success including 4 wins over a mile all in 100+ spfs this year he has won an open allowance 8f 116sp then on to stakes racing win iCarly Challenge-Stk 113sp had a nice win in The Premium Stakes-G2 8f 109sp has been a bit disappointing in last two runs. His trainer will be hoping for a reversal of form here. Looks the likely leader and if he gets a soft run in front might hold them all off.

6 129064 SEEKING NESSY(KY) rlogan J Plumber 9/1

ONEWORLD Stables – Established Wk. 634 trained 6yrold by HENNESSY x SEEKING THE GOLD x DAWN QUIXOTE 48 starts so far for 12 wins and $793,470 in earnings this top stakes performer is used to racing over more ground than this in fact he is a classic performer at a mile and a quarter winning 5 times at 10 of 10.5 f probably better suited to allowance racing at this stage of his career. Will get back in the running and will need a big effort in the stretch to drive past them.

7 52763 TAKEOVER(IRE) juvy H Karma 7/2

Tees Stables trained 6yrold by GIANT’S CAUSEWAY (IRE) from GROSSLY WAVER he has raced 46 times for 13 wins and $793,587 in earnings won 2 from 2 as a 2yrold then struggled as 3yrold so much so the he was entered into a claiming race where he was a shrewd buy as it turned out for his current trainer who got 6 wins for him at 4yrs as 5yrs he won The Ted Nugent Classic-G2 8f 113sp also won the same race this year 108sp even after 46 career starts is still producing top form and will be right in this all the way. Adds to the puzzle in a very difficult race.

Some very well bred turf milers go to the start here and the winner will be hard to pick but here we go.

1ST PICK AND CHOSE(AUS)

2ND MACKINAW PEACH(KY)

3RD TAKEOVER(IRE)
