The Hong Kong Racing Club concluded an exciting inaugural racing series this past week.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The season proved to be a huge success with over $2.8 million in purse money handed out amongst eleven trainers. \u00a0<\/SPAN>Trainer SELURNIVEK finished atop the trainer standings with $920,750 in 61 starts! His 201 points in the standings certainly made him a impressive champion! \u00a0<\/SPAN>All races regardless of class or purse money counted in the season standings. You will need to copy and paste the above address into your browser. Our series runs from September to July with over 30 races last year alone! We expect a significant amount more of carded races for the 2010-2011 season, so please join us! \u00a0<\/SPAN>The series is quite costly as one can imagine, so we encourage people to help support us with stables. For those of you who want to join the series you may request one or two blank stables. Your other stables need not support the rez, but your series stables must be in support. We have room for more participants. The series is a great place to earn with horses that otherwise might struggle. We have our own class racing!<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>

This colt started his career in Hong Kong before running in stakes outside of the series for TROTTER. The series has an exemption that allows runners to make starts in stakes races outside of Hong Kong. The three year old posted a 105 speed figure last time out to finish fourth in a grade three race in New York.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>He won the Hong Kong Racing Series first leg of the Triple Crown in February.\u00a0 <\/SPAN>The Triple Crown mirrors the real life Hong Kong version. <\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>

Champion trainer SELURNIVEK struck gold with this RAKTI colt. He won the HKRC Sunny Power Sprint January. He then tried his hooves in the speed series on the turf for the HKRC Queens Silver Jubilee where he finished a strong second. After two solid finishes on the turf following the Jubilee he tackled the HKRC Dirt Sprint Championship. His impressive 97 speed figure victory in that race wrapped up a great first season on the circuit.<\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>

Not all series runners are royally bred or need to be as FOUR ASIAN TIGERS proves. This modestly bred three year old filly is known for a devastating turn of foot in turf sprints. She earns well whether it is class four racing or open competition. <\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>

\u00a0<\/FONT><\/o:p><\/P>

The series features over 200 runners of which many are modestly bred. Some are regally bred like potential emerging stars BASALT MONOLITH (Giant\u2019s Causeway x Danehill)<\/I> and MARVELOUS MAYHEM (RED RANSOM x DIESIS). <\/I>The fact is whether a runner is regally bred or modestly bred they usually find a niche in the series they can succeed in. Class racing breaks up runners based on recent speed figures making it so a runner that can\u2019t break an 80 speed figure can easily earn 50k or more in a season. The top class runners are free to run outside of Hong Kong in stakes, but also earn extremely well right at home in the series! We race horses with AUS and NZ tags as well as clones of real life Hong Kong runners. Every stables must atleast be made up of half clones. <\/o:p><\/FONT><\/SPAN><\/P>
