Lets take a closer look at each runners form before they move into the gates.

1. Arbor Day – 13- 5-1-3

Given her pattern of getting back in the field and charginng home the small field here will suit. Last time out on the Dirt she got well back but failed to extend like she can to finish 6th. We assess her chances on the start before where she came from a long way back entering the stretch to win running away posting a 93SP. The only other time she switched from Dirt to Turf resulted in a win.

2. Eternity in Hell – 13- 4-3-1

Has raced in graded company at her past eight outings and she has come up as our 2/1 favourite for todays race. Last start in the Grade1 The Irish 1000 Guineas she sat up on the speed before running well in the straight to finish 6th beaten 4 lengths with a 100SP. Three starts ago she ran in the G3 The Kewney and after settling mid field she ran home well to finish 3rd with a 99SP. If she can reproduce either of those runs here she will be hard to beat.

3. Fleetwood Leeta – 11- 3-2-1

Comes into this race on the back of a career best performance. This daughter of Johannesburg made her Graded stakes debut last time out and settled towards the rear early on before taking off in the back stretch and running away with it over a mile to win by 3 lengths with a 100SP. Given that run she is great value at 9/2.

4. Grey Goose Gimlet – 11- 4-4-0

An interesting runner in this field here today. She is the 5/2 second favourite and if she gets to lead here as in the past she will be very hard to get past. Last start in the Owner Restricted Blazing Saddles 1000 Guineas she got to the front and didn’t let anything get past her going on to score by 1-3/4 lengths with a 100SP. If she leads here watch out.

5. Dubai Charm – 13- 2-2-3

Would need to improve on her previous 3 starts but if she can recapture her run 4 back when she sat up on the speed before coming home late to just go under by a 1/2 running a career high 94SP. She doesn’t have to improve much to be a good trifecta chance here.

6. Pye Us Transit – 10- 3-4-1

Last time out she may have found the distance a little far for her. We will base her chances here on her run 3 starts ago where in the Grade3 The Longest Walk she sat up on the speed and held her ground in the straight to finish 2nd with a 98SP. If she reproduces that she will be in the money here.

A really tricky little race and it would not surprise to see any of these 6 beautiful fillies winning. My selections for the race are 3 – 2 – 4.

I hope all horses have a safe run and I wish all the trainers the best.

Chris

Slipery1

[2

post-8133","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-previews
["GET
