PP 2 – 50311 HIGHSIDE(IRE) 5YH by High Chaparral 35 starts 12-4-8 $1,378,337 (firfight)
Followed win in Turkey with a strong effort leading all the way in Grade Two The All Ages in New South Wales both over the distance of todays race. Is one of the best Turf Sprinters going around and will go close in this.<\/p>\n
PP 3 – 15113 K\u2019S BERTIER(KY) 6YH by Kingmambo 36 starts 18-8-2 $1,168,420 (ledwith2)
Is the winner of two out of last three starts. Followed easy win in Grade Three Mr Anderson Special over this distance with fading second over slightly longer 1600m The Frisco Mile a Grade Two event in North California. Will be better suited over this trip and I think he is the one to beat.<\/p>\n
PP 4 – 23113 VILLIAN(KY) 5YH by Vindication 29 starts 11-8-6 $338,544 (aaafarms)
Winner two of last three starts. Good effort to win Storm Hill Challenge at Deauville two runs back which was followed by fast finishing third behind both Highside and Northern Tip in Grade Two The All Ages in New South Wales over the distance of todays race.<\/p>\n
PP 5 \u2013 12079 RED BANANA(IRE) 4YC by Red Clubs 19 starts 7-1-2 $2,110,250 (chiknsmack)
Grade One winner of the DPCD VIII The Penn Dash at Pennsylvania five runs back but has been slightly disappointing since.<\/p>\n
PP 6 – 11112 TATSU(KY) 5YH by Ghostzapper 30 starts 14-6-3 $3,136,435 (given)
Was surprisingly beaten last start in Newmarket Palace Stakes over 1000m. Had won previous four starts three of them at Grade One level the last being the Sand Castle Turf Sprint in United Arab Emirates. The class horse of the field with over $3.1M in stakes and the number one ranked turf sprinter at the moment.<\/p>\n
PP 7 – 13362 NORTHERN TIP(JPN) 4YC by Fantastic Light 22 starts 7-5-4 $348,370 (steller4)
Disappointing sixth in Grade Three George Rides Stakes in Queensland before finishing second to Highside in Grade Two All Ages in New South Wales beaten almost 2 lengths over the distance of todays race. Has a chance.<\/p>\n
PP 8 – 29912 SUPER RISK(IRE) 4YC by Danehill Dancer 23 starts 9-5-1 $1,663,150 (wistful0)
Won the Grade three George Rides Stakes at Queensland over 1500m before running second in the Grade Two Rising Sun Spring Cup in Japan where he failed to catch the winner In My Blood.<\/p>\n
PP 9 – 28021 FOOL PROOF SCHEME(KY) 4YC by Elusive Quality 20 starts 7-4-1 $304,050 (desperado3)
Won The Raktavija Challenge at Portugal last start over the short course of 1000m after being beaten at long odds on favourite in Paris Allowance race over this distance. Not racing quite up to his best at the moment but worth some thought at the odds.<\/p>\n
PP 10 \u2013 26726 MIXIMUS PRIME(KY) 5YH by Empire Maker 26 starts 8-6-3 $1,046,650 (ks00003)
Great effort in Grade One New Market Handicap two starts back over 1200m before late closing sixth in the Grade Two Sydney Sprint also over 1200m. May find the extra 200m a bit to much here.<\/p>\n
PP 11 – 77014 PICK AND CHOSE(AUS) 4YC by Redoute\u2019s Choice 17 starts 9-1-1 $1,335,820 (dixon)
Followed win here in All Comers Stakes over 1600m with a great fourth placing in Grade One The Locksmith at Surrey also over 1600m.<\/p>\n
PP 12 – 12113 SIX GUN CITY ER(KY) 5YH by Forestry 34 starts 8-8-7 $624,775 (erracing)
Has been very consistent of late being placed at each of last seven starts. Good win in Stakes race in Arizona two starts back but then only plodded to the line in latest effort in Louisiana Stakes race when started favourite.<\/p>\n
PP 13 – 72123 BLAZING NOBILITY(KY) 4YV by Noble Causeway 15 starts 4-4-3 $175,350 (megablaze)
Good effort for third place last start in Grade Two The Sundown Mile which followed Stakes win at Indonesia over 1400m.<\/p>\n
FINAL THOUGHTS
I like the favourite K\u2019S BERTTIER from HIGHSIDE and NORTHERN TIP. Throw in 21\/1 chance FOOLPROOF SCHEME and RED BANANA also at good odds for the Trifectas.<\/p>\n
