Sitting just off the speed the 5yo chestnut gave the impression all race she was just biding her time and ready to pounce and she did not disappoint when hitting the front at the right time to win by 1\/4 of a length. This takes her career prizmoney to almost $1.4 million. billiam40<\/EM> was quoted as saying this is the start of something big and you can expect an even bigger improvement on her SP# of 104.<\/FONT><\/P> 2ND – SKULLCRUSHER(KY) – given2 <\/EM>–<\/STRONG> Produced a tenacious fighting effort when trying to lead all the way. The daughter of Awesome Again<\/EM> returned to great from as we predicted she may well do and caught the attention of many good judges in the process. Already a winner of 15 races expect that tally to rise very soon.<\/FONT><\/P> 3RD – PADDLE STEAMER(ENG) – foxon5 <\/EM>–<\/STRONG> As her trainer foxon5<\/EM> told us in the preview she was cherry ripe for this race and again she has added to her recent long run of near misses with another top 3 finish, that is 6 in a row now and she certainly must not be far away from the major prize. A positive sign is she was really the only horse to run on well with most on pace horses seeming to benefit in this race.<\/FONT><\/P> 4TH – SKY’S GRAY(KY) – rlogan <\/EM>–<\/STRONG> Looked as though she may make a run at the 2 furlong mark but seemed to plateau half way home and had to whack away to hold onto fourth. She raced slightly closer than some of her past efforts. rologan<\/EM> would still be happy with a 4th at this level and will be planning her next assault as we speak.<\/FONT><\/P> Of the other nothing really stood out with horses either not being able to maintain the pace up front or failing to run on in the stretch from back in the field this could highlight the quality of the top three finishers.
