Sersave Ended his streak of 15 consecutive last place finishes this weekend by finishing 8th in a field of 9. Sersave also ended another streak in this race…over the prior 12 starts, he went off at odds of 270-1 or higher. In his recent start, a $2000 claimer, at 4.5 furlongs, Sersave went off at a mere 34-1. <\/p>\n
Sersave is a horse that we all would like to avoid…winning one race in 99 starts and being in the money a hideous 6 times. Somehow, this 9-year old has survived and found his way into a stable I opened and stocked with randomly drawn horses from the sim system. I originally intended to dump Sersave via the auction route once reaching the mandated 20 starts for the barn. However, the closer I got to the 20 starts, the closer Sersave got to 100 races.<\/p>\n
So this loser of a horse has stayed on with the stable and will be wrapping up his regretful career with his next start. A farewell special race is being planned for Sersave for his next race, his 100th which requires him to be retired. Plas are to transfer him to a riding barn where the kiddies can ride him after the race. Mom’s out there should not worry…Sersave is not fast and the kids won’t get hurt as he rarely gets a race speed over 50. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
